It's Monday 2021 Week 16
Yesterday: Decent Day, all went well.
Last Night: Oh Dear. Tummy very painful again, kept me awake most of the night. Lead suspect is some Lentils I ate with lunch. Pain did reduce before flaring again around five this morning. Uncomfortable and bloated.
Today: The electric wheelchair arrives. HUGE ONE this, can't even start to scrath the surface of how I feel or what it represents. Doing today was going to be difficult anyway, doing it with (metaphorically) one hand tied behind my back thanks to the stomach ..... yeah. This could be a challenge.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray stomach improves. Pray Liz's back continues to improve - she drove yesterday. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Credit to Phil where credit's due. I'd forgotten this, so a big thank-you.
One must admit you have played fair. Good luck with your hovering space-wheelchair!

Only hit the doorframe once so far. I hope you didn't squash too many flowers. I'm sure you drive better than Austin Powers. Martin

Morning All!
It's Tuesday!
Yesterday: Considering I started the day on little sleep, a very painful tummy and something I'd been dreading looming, Yesterday Morning went AMAZINGLY well. Electric Chair is here. Not a lot of room to practice in the house but taken it for a spin round the green. Physically coped well, Thank You Lord and all who prayed. Was tired by lunch, but still functional when I went to bed if not for much longer...... and slept three and a half hours!
Today: J back to home schooling - we postponed it a day from yesterday as we thougt it would be too disruptive and too much going on. Recorder 8am, so need to remember to host Prayer Meeting upstairs, then he's out to ARC then Liz teaching 10am.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, stomach and Head cope OK. Pray Liz's back copes, especially with the driving. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

A poem for Tuesday:
It's a very funny thought that, if Chairs were Cheese, Their frames would be cheddar and the cushions soft bries. And that being so (if the Cheese was Chairs), Phil could have a snack while going upstairs.
(Ten points to anyone who can tell me which famous poet I am plagiarising.)
Tomorrow: A poem for Wednesday

(Ten points to anyone who can tell me which famous poet I am plagiarising.) Nobody? Really! Does nobody read the classics any more? Here's a longer one plagiarised from the same poet. A poem for Wednesday: Here lies a ladder which Phil (true word) Is fond of when it stands up straight, And Phil was talking to a mate Called Ralph (in case you hadn't heard) When something Odd occurred. For lo! their wind blew with a will And flattened out Phil's great loft ladder; And things looked grim or even badder - Badder, I mean, for those with Phil - I've never known things look so ill. Then Pinwig (PINWIG) thought a thing: "Courage!" he said. "There's always hope. I want a thinnish piece of rope. Or, if there isn't any, bring A thickish piece of string." Down from the Loft of Joy he dropped, While Ralph and Phil said "Oh!" and "Hum!" And where the ladder should have come Through hatch and down rope Pinwig hopped Until he reached the floor and stopped. O gallant Pinwig (PINWIG)! Ho! Did Pinwig tremble? Did he frown? No, no, he plummeted to the ground Within the Death-Fortress, I know Because I saw him go. Down he dropped, and then stood there And shouted, "Help Phil, I implore, And Ralph, a pal!" until he saw His friend Andu climbing the stair As quickly as he dare. "Help-Help and Rescue!" Pinwig cried, And showed the others where to go. (Sing ho! for Pinwig (PINWIG) ho!) And soon the ladder was back upright, And we cheered him with all our might. Sing ho! for Pinwig, ho! Ho! Tomorrow: A poem for Thursday Martin
