HUGE FALL
Legs went out from under m on the landing, went straight down. Arm was resting on banister so that went the other side, getting raked as it did and leaving me hanging there by my arm pit.
Game over man, game over!

So 48th birthday. 48 is a multiple of 12 and 16 (4 x 4 x 3) so those birthdays have been on my mind 12th 1985 First Birthday at Secondary school. A Saturday. No memory at all 24th 1997 .... oh this is odd, a Sunday. My memory is saying that was a day off work to get a Core sample done from my thigh for a muscle biopsy. Obviously not! Again, No Memory! 36th 2009 Bank Holiday Monday. tmukhub.proboards.com/post/46452/thread J would have been 2 1/2 tmukhub.proboards.com/thread/2606/week-gordon-browns-last-stand says he was ill that night. =- 16th was 1989. Thursday. Study week ahead of GCSEs. Because of the law of sod it was the only day I had to go into school for an English exam. Oxygene and, I think, Orinocho Flow on tape as presents. Saw Working Girl in the evening with my friend Louise. 32 was 2005. Wednesday. Would have been the last year I was working and I tended to work Wednesdays.

Bloody British weather has scuppered the shed building plans.
If it had just stayed dry a few hours longer I could have got the floor down and got the corner posts in place and gotten the tarpaulin over it all. Work could have continued safely.
Instead its all chaos.
Flooding and and things blowing everywhere.
In the gaps between downpours finally got the insulation boards fitted between the floor frame, but till things dry out Im stuck and also back at work. Grrr.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: Had a really good birthday, albeit with the usual busy start to a Tuesday. Pizza for lunch, Chinese for tea, nice presents.
Today: J out at ARC. Food order needs doing, with a bit of planning because of something due to happen end of the week. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Sinuses and Face improve - generally better but not there yet. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Not doing quite so good this morning, which is a bit of a shame. I've got a blank morning where I could get some stuff done, and there's lots of things I'd like to, but my body is going NO so I need to listen.
Face aches, mainly back up on cheekbones. I feel a bit cold with the windows open. Main suspect though is a fall I mad last night: left ankle gave out, I went straight down, ramming my right heal into my undercarriage between my legs. It hurt at the time - was on the floor for quite a while - but I thought the bath straight after had sorted most of the damage. Evidentally not as I'm rather achy today, both all over from the fall and between my legs from the impact.

I've just found out eye tests aren't free in England! Been free all my life in Scotland (where prescriptions are also free so less barriers to care and good health). Moons of madness! I'm due a test in the summer but no income so, er, I won't now!

I need to get my eyes checked up as well, I've not had an eye checkup since I lived in the UK. It's on my docket for general s*** I need to do this year since I've got optical insurance through work and there's an optitions two doors down and they'll hopefull give me a discount after the many years I've made their coffee's for them.

You can often find offers for free eye tests. Boots might be a good bet. I went there and I wasn't charged.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: Not so good. Achy and wobbly after fall on Tuesday night. Weather played with CMT. Face a bit fun, more itchy than painful. And a very stressful encounter with the ASDA website that had dumped all out ammends made to the order in the morning by the evening! Little trouble getting off last night.
On This Particular Thursday: Eyes down for a full house: J recorder at 9, L teaching at 10. Food due.... but not till 1 because the wheelchair people are coming in to see me at 11. And then Liz is going away for a few days to get a well deserved little break. Face is fun this morning, painful side of itchy.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray Sinuses and face improve. Pray Liz gets to where she's going safely. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Not a bad day at all. Chair arm fixed and outdoor speed installed. Shopping in safe and Liz dispatched for three nights away.... which has allowed me to finally crack open the Smiley's People Blu Ray set I had for when she was due to go end of October! Started work on tidying/reconfiguring the library, with a lot of assistance from Jonathan who did the bulk of the fetching and carrying. Best Sinus/Face day for weeks
Today: Not much planned. Need to make a decision on dinner and get the right food out to defrost. Can feel the moving pain in teeth/cheek today.
Pray Day goes OK, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray the Sinuses are as good as yesterday and improve from where they are now. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.
