Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 20
Yesterday: A busy Sunday, but a good day after a slightly dodgy start: was struggling with sinuses, throat and weather pains at kick off. Fall early on. Internet keeled over mid prayer meeting, power supply died 10mins before Gateway's main meeting. But recovered OK from there, thank you all who prayed. The tiredness persisted throughout the day as it has done a lot recently. Cracked a problem I had in the evening.
Today: 3 TKC Prayer Meetings. Leading another session in the morning. Not sure L & J got much booked.
Pray Day goes OK,CMT and Head cope OK. Pray for the tiredness, sinuses and throat. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Today is the day of Reanna’s last chemotherapy session, God, the last five months somehow passed in the blink of an eye and yet didn’t pass at all.

Morning All!
It's Tuesday.
Yesterday: Busy again, tiring. Weather wore me down and played havoc with the CMT. It doesn't like wet weather at all but hates changeable weather even more. It doesn't help that my pain killer consumption has been a bit higher than average of recent so I'm having to ration what I have. Woke up with a pain in my right hip following my afternoon sleep - my bad hip is the left one following a fall nearly 30 years ago - and imediately keeled over.
Today: J recorder at 9. L teaching 10.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

After what feels like an eternity of rain delays. the last week has been really productive.
Took a first aid course through work last week. Fun but I hope its like my maths gcse, now I've passed I hope I never need to use it.
The day after I got my first jab and besides barely being able to use my arm while I was at work a few hours later largely avoided any major side effects.
Took bike in for major overhaul using the £50 bike repair voucher. that got delayed because the original assesment missed a broken gear shifter. Somehow they couldnt get hold of a suitable replacement till October (huh? - okay my bikes ancient so probably not that shocking) so got online and found a vintage new old stock pair. So now its gone from repairs to restoration which sounds much more exciting.
And finally, finally, finally Ive made progress on the shed. Got the few hours of dry weather I needed to get the floor finished and then got the frame up and covered with a tarpaulin before the rain returned. Now I dont have to stop for the rain. Ha! Take that rain. You are no longer my master.
Scary roof building phase next.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: Another busy day. Managed to break my own record for word from file onto screen tonight and got Zionworx to run over Zoom with only one monitor :-) Sorted a Zoom recordings problem for Liz by fiddling the web settings.
Awake till 2, in pain, and don't feel good this morning.
Today: J out on Kayaking course. L envigilating. Food order. Home group. Prayer Meetings.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

And finally, finally, finally Ive made progress on the shed. Scary roof building phase next. Re-felted our secret second shed's roof the other weekend. It's under a tree and I got a bit wedged at one point. Three days later I was noticed missing and was rescued, but it was nice to be alone with my thoughts for a while drinking rainwater.

Fall 2 left me wedged between toilet and washbasin with legs bent up and ankles twisted.
Fall 3 was just straight down onto the floor of the library - not as bad in comparison but still not good.....

Morning All!
It must be Thursday! I never could get the hang of Thursdays....
Yesterday: Actually I'm hoping Wednesday was the problem day this week (frequently they are now) Tiring, painful, falls, BUSY. Lost two hours at the start of the night and was always going to be a bit down after that but a fall at breakfast then a busy morning, then some more falls post sleep - which was itself not long enough thanks to the phone going - one of which got me wedged between Loo and basin needed assistance to sort my feet up. Felt a bit better after dinner and in the bit of the homegroup session I did before hosting the 8pm Prayer Meeting..... and then couldn't get off to sleep till 2am again as the muscle pain did odd things just after I got into bed which needed me to get up again till it died down.
Today: L teaching. Food due. Bins out.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray my sleep pattern gets back to normal. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Yesterday morning's headache developed into a migraine which confined me to bed until late evening. Sciatica bothering me for first time in over a year and still getting side pain. I would like my body to start behaving!

You and me both.
I had plans to do something at the weekend but the way this week has panned out they're going to have to be binned.
I am reminded of what it used to be like to be me pre pandemic!

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Tough, tiring. Slept 4 hours in the afternoon. Massive J meltdown while bins were going out but that enabled us to get to the bottom of what had been bothering him and amend our plans accordingly.
Got off 1am ish last night. An improvement, especially considering how long I slept in the day.
Today: Intending to spend the morning in bed. Prayer Meeting at 1. Hosting a meeting at 2:30, but I'm probably going to throw the host at someone else. Hasbro TF reveal at 4 allegedly.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep better. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

End of a tiring week. Sleepless nights thanks to being bunged up with a snotty head cold courtesy of my 9-year-old niece oop north. First infectious disease caught in over a year, and a rude wake-up call to the old immune system, which must have thought its services were no longer required. On the plus side, social distancing measures in the office have prevented my colleagues from catching it off me, which is reassuring. If they want to contract non-dangerous infectious diseases to keep their immune systems ticking over, they'll have to get them somewhere else.

Libraries are finally open to the public over here in Madison. I’m going to go to one first thing in the morning on my first day off. It’s been since March 2020.
