Benevolent Phil has struck! He has sent me a gun for Crosswise! A GUN FOR CROSSWISE! My Spychanger RID ten are complete! He has also sent me... a box of robot bits... which might take me a minute to work out... Was there anything else in the box besides and Crosswise Gun and some robot bits?

There were two packets of Dark of the Moon trading cards. Which I did open, however there were none in there that aren't already in the sort of collection of those I have. Nothing on the moderately rare scale. But it's always fun opening packets of cards!

Not a good mental health day. Spent most of it staring into space or lying in bed. Got very little done. Try again tomorrow.

Shed Life Update: Im on to the walls. This is huge. I'll have a box with a pointy top very soon.
Bike restoration update. The bike went back into Halfords for its repairs after I had found replacement gear shifters. I missed a call from them so went in the next day assuming it would be ready, but instead found that they couldnt true the wheels, I guess because the were too old and or rusted. And was told with annoying vagueness that new wheels would cost as much as the bike.
Er, what does that mean?
The bike is 26 years old. Do you mean the value back then? You cant mean the value now because I assume its basically worthless. Do you mean the it will double the cost of repairs? That would make sense but is not what I was being told. But the guy I was talking to was just passing along the note left by the mechanic who wasnt in on Sunday, so no further information was available.
With no idea what I was looking for I started looking at the cost of new wheels online. Going on average prices I figured I'd be looking at £100, but no idea which type I needed. In hope of finding a listing for my bike with some useful information in it I tried ebay. There was one listing. It was less than ten miles away. It was £24.10 (I have no idea).
Picked it up today. A lot of it is trashed but the paint on the frame is generally a bit better, the seat is intact and most importantly the wheels look like they are in better shape than mine. Will have to see if Halfords agree.

Have a good day, stay safe & well.

And here we are in Lockdown 4, which is apparently not a lockdown but 'guidance' but don't meet indoors, don't travel out of area, etc. Feels like a lockdown to me, but then in The North we've been under continuous restrictions for 15 months. It would be nice if the BBC noticed.
The Army are coming to give us more tests because tests stop covid rather than vaccinating everyone more quickly.

*checks news*
Government says it isn't a local lockdown (it is) but to take "personal responsibility" (ie it's your fault if you catch it) and no, we can't have surge vaccinations.

What the heck happend on 2nd May? We had 1800 users online. Seems unlikely, given the previous record was about 200 people in 2008.

While watching an episode of 'The Pact' this evening with the missus, right at the point a woman has an argument with her husband about his toy robot collection and throws a load of them on the floor, I had to dash out of the room because the preorder for Fans Toys Huffer went live on Omegalock and I didn't want to miss out.
The irony of this did not escape Mrs P.

Bit of a rollercoaster day physically and mentally - highs and low. At the moment the body feels weak and in pain - a few falls this evening - the face hurts and the head feels worn down.
Pray I get off to sleep at a reasonable time, sleep through and awake feeling better all round. Ta

The irony of this did not escape Mrs P. I think you need a t-shirt that says Nah, I spent all my money on Plastic Robots Martin It was quite a surreal moment. All I could think of to say was, "My robots are better than his." She looked at me for a good ten seconds and didn't reply.
