Shed Life update: 3 walls done and Ive worked out how to fit the windows.
Im starting to believe this might work. But that sort of thinking brings complacency.

Long time no see guys! I've just finished my first watermelon of this summer, it was quite ripe, splitted through as i cut in for a few centimeters. These days mainly reading comics about midnighter —— hell ya I'm gay. The graduating history test comes next week, wish me good luck.

Shed Life Update: Windows have (temporarilly) been fitted and look good.
Worryingly, the shed has stopped wobbling. Its trying to lull me in to a false sense of security.
But I'm on to it.

In other news I have just discovered that a human version of Hungry Hungry Hippos exists.

In a little physical difficulty tonight: day has worn me down and it culminated in 15mins stuck on the bathroom floor while I tried to get in the bath.

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: First half OK. Downhill from lunch. Broke a tooth, spent most of the afternoon dealing with a plumbing problem while nursing a slightly dodgy tummy. V tired by evening which culminated in 15mins stuck on bathroom floor trying to get into the bath.
Today: J ARC. Hoping to go out in the chair with Liz for a walk. Food order. Home group. And need to ring dentist.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray tooth stays in one piece and doesn't give me pain. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

MASSIVE fall straight after this morning's prayer meeting. Hit the table on the way down and knocked a vase of flowers over, water everywhere.
30 mins of floor, plenty of pain.

Bit of progress. Have barely been able to find the mental energy to job search and I can't face going back to Social Care, especially while the pandemic is still on and I'm not fully vaccinated. Saw an interesting summer intern temp thingy (working at home) and a casual working from home thingy so bunged applications in today. It's a start at least.

Good luck with those jobs, Ralph, and wishing Phil’s day improves.
I am on a train heading for home after a few days’ break in London, using a hotel booking I had postponed three times since before Covid. Not yet double-jabbed, so avoiding the interiors of theatres and pubs, but enjoyed a few socially distanced museums, cinemas and eating establishments, along with shops and a short walk along the Thames. I benefited greatly from the absence of commuters and foreign tourists, though I could see businesses are suffering badly.
Hope to be back in a few months fully vaccinated to catch a play or two and have some drinks with chums if available.

I LOVE HISTORY!!! What specifically are you studying, Helium? Well, I'm in Grade 8, so it's just one of the restricted electives. However, we do have a key point this year——the socialist structural reform of the Chinese Communist Party, since it has come to its centenary.

Spoke to the surgeon about 30 minutes ago. Everything went well. I’m just waiting for her to recover from anesthesia sufficiently enough to go see her.

So this morning our team at work have our regular conference call (no video feed which is a good thing). Suki is in my lap as she's not been well. She jumps up a bit part way through looking for a wee cuddle, which I oblige. She then hops onto my shoulders as she is wont to do.
Nothing to worry about there.
Oh wait, didn't you mention in the Pets of the Hub thread she's unwell with diahorrea? Are you sure letting her on shoulders is a good idea?
Well I am glad you asked and the answer to that is YES and NO, but I did it anyway. Did I regret this.
You bet I did as the first squirts of liquid dog doo start hitting me in the back of the head.
The conference call is still going on by the way. I place myself on mute and try and get her down while not getting anymore shite on me.
I'd like to say I succeeded.
I'd like to.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: *SHOULD* have been game over at 8:30 when I fell in the lounge - right foot did something and hit the table on the way down knocking a vase over and spilling water everywhere. That cost me thirty mins on the floor so anything after that was a bonus really. Went for a walk with Liz - me in the chair. Lunch outside. Managed a large chunk of Homegroup. Failed to ring the dentist. Sinuses generally good, no pain in damaged tooth.
V wobbly & achy this morning, might be to do with it being a bit greyer this morning or the fall yesterday.
On this particular Thursday: J music theory, L teaching, Shopping In, extra bit of zoom teching for me at lunch and J has a trip out with the carers centre to go climbing!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray damaged tooth stays pain free. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

OU are doing an online careers event. Ask us questions, they say? I did then was told to book a 1-1. Fair enough. None of the document or audio downloads work. The live presentation has been a spinning circle for 28 mins so far with lots of 'I can't see/hear anything' comments.

Booked a Skype 1-1 next Wednesday. Second presentation is running fine and I am now finding out just how much my last employer broke the law under disability legislation and how my condition was managed at work!!!

Feels odd, first Download I've not been to since 2012. (that it's actually been on for)
Feeling kinda sorta conflicted about that.
