Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 25
Yesterday: OK day. Body struggled a bit in morning but didn't push it too far. Church projectionb PC had an "interesting" morning so I need to pay it a visit and persuade it to behave. Hasn't seen me for nearly 16 months, obviously pining for me ;-)
Today: L has visitor. Bit of teching 10am. J gym at 5ish and he's making his own way back!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Why can't people just leave things alone rather than mess them up?
My dad uses his landline phones every day. Like me, he doesn't have a mobile phone. None of the landline phones are in the room where the broadband hub is. Now BT tell him they are 'upgrading' him to digital telephony, meaning he has to plug his landline phone into the hub, and all the existing phone sockets will stop working.
Oh, and by the way, in future if the broadband goes off or if there's a power cut, the phones won't work, not even to call 999.
PROGRESS!

Dunno, he'll find out when he rings them tomorrow.
I just hate the way companies are always 'upgrading' things whether their customers want them to or not, and pay little heed to people who just want stability and familiarity. Whether it's moving paper services online, e.g. online billing or banking, or revamping of websites, or Windows updates screwing things up, or whatever, I just wish they'd make these things opt-in rather than causing stress to people with limited tolerance for technological change.
Landline telephones work fine! Making them digital won't make them work any better and may make them less reliable! Leave them alone!

Will assume cost more to maintain now, hence the shift.
Absolute bollocks though, especially if he has no mobile.

I am still annoyed that all my bills and statements went online "to improve the user experience". I liked getting paper copies! In the post!

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: wearing and used more head than I had to give. Decent night's sleep has helped but bit of an early start at 5:30.
Today is a big one on top of a normal Wednesday which I've found taxing anyway the last few weeks: leading Prayer Meeting first thing, then I'm going out somewhere I've not been for SIXTEEN MONTHS to do a tech job and we have Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Thursday!
Yesterday: A VERY Good Day, exceptional by recent Wednesday standards. Prayer Meeting went well first thing, then a couple of hours in the church building administering some TLC to a PC that had misbehaved last Sunday. Decent sleep in afternoon, visitor, made it through all of homegroup. Body cooperated, almost certainly helped by the decent weather, head coped, sinuses & face weren't too bad.
On this particular Thursday: Busy: J music theory at 9, L teaching 10, food shopping due 11. Parcel from Ropbotkingdom via Parcelfarce is also expected now I've paid the ransom fee. Epic Collection announcements at 5.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray I don't crash after a busier day yesterday. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Busy. Wizzed by, but noit quite so easy as Weds purely I suspect because the weather wasn't quite as good and because I was tired from the previous day. Epic announcements were fun, with one major cat amongst the pidgeons surprise!
Awake till nearly 2. Very wobbly this morning.
Today: Payday! L exam envigilating remotley this morning, we're working round that and hopefully chipshop lunch.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

I didn't get a sticker either time. But then I didn't get side effects either time so I'll count that as a win.
I feel I ought to be bringing more joy to the Hub this week given I've been honoured with a week title. I don't think I'm doing a very good job.
