I found I had no hope with big places like Boots, their appointments outside school hours were booked for as far ahead as the system allowed, but places that don't use online booking are better. I got one same day at a local chemist a couple of Saturdays ago.

Local chemists don't know when they're getting suppliees. Best to at least have an appointment booked with Boots so I know I can get one before Winter properly takes hold.
