So I'm going to have to buy core class G2 Megatron, because then I'll have a G1 scaled Megastorm, even if it's completely wrong design.

IIRC PR is a code for repack Ah, yes - "pee rack". Those are some exciting and baffling lists. Baffling in that I really don't understand why we've got normally-deluxe-or-voyager-sized characters in the Legends range - i.e. Shockwave (*two* Shockwaves!) and Ratchet. I mean, I don't mind that at all - smaller versions of characters to interact with Titans is a great idea. It's just that also including actually-smaller-sized characters, such as Ravage, in the same line makes it puzzlingly inconsistent. But then they did start this in Kingdom and have never bothered to justify their decision, so why not roll with it? Studio Series looks like it's going to be a dangerous line for me next year - I've loved the TF6 Bumblebee and Starscream this year, so I don't know how I'm going to be able to resist any of those figures - Brawn, Ratchet, Arcee, Wheeljack and Ravage are certainly going to be a must-get. And then Soundwave, to go with the Ravage. (Although I have all of the WFC cassettes and no Soundwave, so who knows if I'll actually bother.) 86 Arcee's a puzzling one, since she's not listed as a repack - and WFC Arcee's already had a repack anyway, in Kingdom. So a whole new mold for the same character design? Or a slight deco change? Strange. I was convinced that Legacy Elita-1 was going to be a repaint of Prime Arcee (so another motorbike Elita-1), and I'm still pretty much convinced of that - although she could end up being a reworking of 86 Arcee. On the frustrating front there's Blaster, who's an overdue and not-unwelcome addition... but with no cassettes listed. So hopefully they're coming... or they won't be. And those Legacy Selects toys are the most uninteresting variants that I could think of. After all that excitement of who the previously-unreleased character from 1986 could be, and it turns out to be Armada. Sheesh. Still, that saves me some money. What's missing from all of that, of course, is any idea as to what their replacement Cyberverse line is going to be. They'll need something to accompany the new show (unless they think they're Mattel all of a sudden), so I want to see that. All the same though, some exciting stuff for next year. Let's hope we can actually get it. |

Yeah, Core does seem to have an odd dual life as both smaller characters and smaller versions of larger toys. T30 Legends started smaller versions of larger characters but went smaller characters pretty quickly and really took off then.
Chances of G2 Megatron being a new toy or just a repaint of the existing Megatron?
Iguanus is an interesting one. I *WOULD* have said BW Basic, woo, but Skullgrin sneaking onto the schedules throws that up in the air a bit.
Not keen on the ss case with core Spike in. Nice to see Ratchet finally getting a smaller G1 version. And a non exclusive Skywarp!

There's something a little bit disappointing about getting such a comprehensive leak so far in advance, even if I am excited about many of the reveals. Are Cyberverse, etc. never leaked or does it just go unreported?
I gather it's not to everyone's taste from what I've seen on Twitter this morning, but I'm happy to see a few more pre-Transformers from WFC moulds in there! Roll on Black Ironhide, Red Mirage, et al. I am absolutely in the mood for that kind of thing right now.

Or some early confused info and he's actually just a Selects which would bring Velocitron's deluxes down to 4 (Wal*Mart did have 4's in Netflix bu 4 is much more common) I too am a little disappointed by the 86 toy turning out to be Cyclonus' Armada - a little cheeky playing that card as Armada toys turn up in the main line - but I think it's in the right place in Selects. Cyclonus' Armada & Sweeps are going to be wanted by less people than Scourge & Cyclonus but I think more people (like Ralph) will buy Sweeps to Army Build. All in for the Diaclone repaints - love love love. Skids is already in there quick with Burnout, I assume Crosscut and Reboost will get a home SOMEWHRE (Selects 2023? Velocitron wave 2?) |

So.... Skids has got a Burnout repaint already. Crosscut & Reboost when? We *think* Elita-1, Arcee and Velocitron Road Rocket might be one and the same Ditto Pointblank and Velocitron Blurr Blaster is *LIKELY* to be a Sounwave retool and you can put money on Twincast being on the runway somewhere. Jhaxus and Armada Starscream were done from each other in T30, that'll probably happen again with Thundercracker and Skywarp to follow. Lazer Op is Velocetron Scourge Dragon Megatron is RiD Cryotek, easy money there. In fact just repaint that mould any colour of the rainbow and beyond and it'll sell. Which leaves.... Deluxe Dragstrip

Unless it *is* Beast Wars Iguanus and Skullgrin is something else - a Fossilizer, perhaps? The name kind of fits. Admittedly we only have one Core class Fossilizer at present (Vertebreak), but I wouldn't put it past them to release it a third time in purple and call it Skullgrin. |

Could Knockout be a redone Stunticon? I reckon he may end up being a retool of Hot Rod - they're both sporty cars, after all. And if Hot Rod gets any retooling to make Override, I can see that working as the basis for a Prime Knockout. |

Well that would certainly be a choice. But then they are already doing two new molds for female characters next year (TF6 Arcee and Prime Arcee/Elita-1 - the latter being my guess), so three would just be asking for way too much...

Still, I suppose it means we can budget.
Is MPM Movie Masterpiece? A Blackout could be tempting. That's about the only movie design I like.

That's a depressing possibility - they do seem to think that one female-mold fits all characters - just look at PottoP and Siege Chromia (which I know were technically different molds, but close enough), and how much all those molds were used. So yeah, you're probably right. Whatever the case, this being a Walgreens exclusive is very annoying given that she's going to be featuring in the upcoming Wreckers comic, and is therefore a figure that people are going to be after. |

He wouldn't be orange for one thing! But disregarding the fact that he deserves his own mold more than most of the dudes getting new molds, I'd use SS86 Scourge as a retool. It has that flying bar-of-soap shape of his, it has his bat wings, his claws. But the key word that would envoke my unbridled fury in my original statement is orange, not Armadascream As to Jhiaxus, I have no problem with him being a remold of Armada Starscream, he just needs to be in his actual colours, and not orange. So he'll be orange. |
