He just don't look right... somehow.... What's going on? A bit too square, especially round the front grill? ..... which isn't good when he's next to the very square Bulkhead, A bit too wide for height too maybe? |

I don't see why the felt the need to change Bulkhead (or any Prime character) to be more G1 just to fit in. I mean, all the Beast wars characters retain their not-G1 look so I don't see why this should be any different.
G1 on it's own has a lot of unique looking robots already.

Skids!!!!....he looks weird. Why does he look weird? I think it's because he looks really chunky and muscly, but that isn't how we 'see' Skids from his comic appearances. |

I very much doubt we'll get all of those, given that the first ten minutes of the segment will now be taken up with the film and other media, and how many toys they normally get through in one of those presentations. I could be wrong, but I'll be surprised if we see more than four or five toys.
Whatever the case, has anyone checked in on the YouTube community? There's been no leaks - they must be starving for clout, poor lambs...

TF also has a shorter segment in the event than SW no doubt there will be dozens of new toys shown.

The sketches look much better and confirm my thinking, Skids main problem is that his chest is too square, doesn't angle in to the front grill.
Is it a deal breaker? Probably not.

Yes, too square. Too square in the bust. Which gives him the chunk, the character in the comic and G1 toy being non-chunk.
Disappointing, actually. He doesn't look like he'll fit too well esthetically.
Not sure he's a deal-breaker, he might be close enough. But far from what I'd -we'd- hoped for.

Skids looking great!
Also liking Dragstrip and Kickback there, Kickback's wings especially look lovely.
Laser Op looks fine, but not thrilling me. Definitely needs the trailer stickers. I might be more interested in a Scourge or Laser Magnus repaint than this.
PRID Arcee looks so much better. The updated Prime toys are a big miss for me so far.
My yearly headcanon for my toys is pretty much characters from different universes and times being thrown together, so it's funny to see that be the actual canon this time.

I don't feel a particularly strong need for this Kickback. It's not really bringing anything new to the table that the last one didn't already.
Not particularly fond of reimagining the insecticon trio as straight up insects, instead of insect shaped vehicles like the originals.
We got that with the legends versions. Making these more toy accurate would have helped make them more unique.

I am deeply underwhelmed by Legacy. I think my pennies will go towards SS86, Cyberverse and back filling stuff I've missed from ER and Kingdom.
