Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 45
Yesterday: Bonus lie in as I wasn't going into church, led Prayer Meeting on Zoom for the meal in the building. Got out for a walk with Liz, me in chair. Quiet day otherwise.
Today: L teaching, J College, bit of teching for me. Must ring dentist.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Still feeling shite from flu vaccine so work today is a struggle. Feel far more hammered than when I got the Covid shots.
Have felt shite after flu jabs before so it will pass. Looking forward to going back to bed!

Office from 7.15am to 12.35pm. Then Marvel's Eternals at Cineworld at 1pm. Then back in office from 4.20pm to 6pm.

It's Tuesday
Yesterday: BUSY. Tech heavy Prayer Meeting first thing, book news, led & teched 2nd PM. Managed to eventually speak to dentist, appt booked 3rd December. Quieter evening! Couldn't get off till gone 1.
Today: L teaching twice, J at College, L & I have Covid Boosters early this afternoon.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Been thinking a lot about what I collect and why and have realised that during Covid/poor personal health times I have fallen into the habit of buying things just for the sake of it.
Cancelled a whole slew of pre-orders. Refocussing. A lot less new Transformers in 2022: Beast Wars and vintage is catching my eye more. Will stick with Retro for SW and Marvel: cheaper, less space taken up and fun. Some MOTU Origins. That'll do for toys.

Two girls in my daughter's class tested positive over the past week, and this morning she did too, as has my wife. So far I have not, but it feels kind of inevitable!

COVID has come to our household :-( Two girls in my daughter's class tested positive over the past week, and this morning she did too, as has my wife. So far I have not, but it feels kind of inevitable! Tis by no means a cert. Bizarrely, most people I know (including Ralph thinking about it, and me) who live with someone who tested positive didn't get it. I know at least six people whose partners had it and they didn't. It's a weird virus. |

Morning All!
It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: Morning was a struggle after loosing an hour or so at the start of the night. I spent quite a bit of it in bed which I think was wise especially as I knew I'd loose some afternoon sleep time thanks to the Covid Booster Jab appointment. That went off OK - centre was BUSY though.
Today: Leading 8am. No plans for rest of the day till Homegroup in the evening.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

It's Thursday
Yesterday: Led at 8am, rested in the morning, curry lunch out to make up for J missing meal at church Sunday. Body ran aground during homegroup in Evening.
On This Particular Thursday: Woke v achy. L teaching twice, food in, J colege. 2nd WAV text drive - 10cm higher inside so should fit this time - and J out at ASD group. Taskmaster at 9pm

Morning All!
It's FRIDAY!
Yesterday: Morning went OK, albeit the food coming in stretched my head more than in recent weeks (it was late, J needed to go to college and was getting stressed plus there items missing) I then mucked up setting my alarm for afternoon sleep and as a consequence only got 20 mins. Test drive went ok but felt very odd sitting in the chair in the back of the car. Evening a struggle: did too much then had a really nasty fall hitting my head on the radiator.
Today: L off to visit friend, J and I home alone. I'm planning to do as little as possible. Weather isn't good, may be an in bed morning.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Boots have refused to apologise or give a refund. Guess I now escalate it to Trading Standards or can I get the money back from my bank?
I have Boots bang to rights: emails, texts, call logs and receipts.
I certainly will never use them again. Next year I'll get the flu jab at a local chemist.
