Morning All!
It's Monday - 2021 Week 48
Yesterday: BUSY morning. Church had been PAT tested during the week so when we walked in several things were not how we'd left them, including some that involved sending Jonathan up a ladder to fix! Busy morning involving videos and showing a baptism using a mobile phone to send the video to Zoom and the big screen. The intention as to sleep all afternoon but I was woken after an hour by the soundbar for my PC arriving which Jonathan then got to help me set up.
Today: Teching 8am, leading 10am, and doing something else zoom related at 12:30. L teaching and out at church. J college. Need to remember to finish the food order which we've switched to tomorrow to fit in better with J's college hours.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Come home to find Virgin is broken again. No TV or internet, which means I can't finish today's work list.
However considering my sister only got power back yesterday after a week without it I don't think I can complain.

Can you pick up BBC, ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 at the moment? I had similar connectivity issues earlier, but was able to get these 5 channels, which is weird because they're coming through the same box.

This happened a week or two back on a large scale and they prioritised restoring those channels. Nothing at the moment. The service page says it'll be restored long past bedtime.

It's been a funny evening. Mrs P told me I had to go to Smyth's (I know, right?!) to pick up an order she made for a Christmas present for a relative, and then told me off for buying toys for myself when I was there! I don't think she understands how this works.
(It was only a Skelegod because he's a tenner off and it was the last one, what was I supposed to do...).

It's Tuesday
Yesterday: MOSTLY OK bar a bit of head wobble while tired late evening. Couple of ticks on the to do list. Poor night, struggled to get off: brain still on despite being tired, pain, cold & tummy all contributed, Then Odd Dreams THEN got woken early. Not 100% today.
Today: BT Engineer due to look at an interweb issue they've detected. Hopefully it'll improve my upload speed. Shopping due: Thursday am had got a bit packed for J and moving it to a different day would make it easier.... but it's rocked the pattern of the week in my head a bit. L teaching online once, J college. And I *NEED* to send an email to the Motobility people.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Knackered and difficult to concentrate. Side effects from last night's Covid booster. Work is therefore a challenge but working from home as usual so could be worse.

Extended quarantine finally over today as Charlotte heads back to school (somewhat reluctantly!). As far as I can be sure, I managed to dodge the virus, unless that headache I had one day was a super-mild case...

Six-monthly hygienist today. Two years ago it would have felt odd having my teeth scaled and polished by people wearing spacesuits, but now...
They've put the prices up, which I can't argue with.

Another week off for me. Should have been back today, but energy levels are still somewhere near zero. And oddly my cough seems to be getting worse. Though it may just be that its being triggered by my efforts to be slightly more active.

It's Wednesday!
Yesterday: Odd. Started difficult after a bad night but thing went OK. We got the shopping sorted, email to Motorbility sent and lots of little odd jobs done. Stayed up far too late in the afternoon minding the BT Engineer who thinks he's sorted the fault BT detected.
Today: Busy. J out 3 times, L has a meeting, J parents evening and Homegroup.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

It's Thursday
Yesterday: I had a quietish day, L and J were running around everywhere and very tired by the end of the day. I was too but it was just the weather and CMT. Every year the winter knocks the CMT but I'm really feeling it this year.
On This Particulat Thursday: J college. L much quieter day. J at ASD group tonight so L and I going to have a nice Chinese takeaway together.

In Wales we’ve been told to wait until we’re called for a booster. I hope my appointment will come through next week. But this weekend is peak Christmas activity for me, visiting family in Torquay with my dad. Had my work Christmas lunches (but declined post-meal pub-going), had my visit to Phil, hopefully manage a smaller family meet-up next weekend, but minimal socialising and no public transport use planned for Christmas weekend itself, and New Year will be nothing at all. Just hope by getting stuff done early we’ll stay ahead of the coming Omicron wave and remain uninfected. We’ll see.

This Is Saturday - Wear A Smile!
Yesterday: Good day. Waking up to find out we'd scored some runs was nice! V fine winter weather meant I could go out for a walk with L for the first time in ages. J's out in the evening got cancelled so L and I were both in to catch Disco in the evening. And managed to produce most of a new DW Blog entry :-) So so nice to see a new one emerging in front of me.
Today: Usual Quiet Saturday planned. Hopefully a haircut this morning, zooming Mum this afternoon, TMUK zoom tonight and a tiny bit of prep for Sunday.
