Arguably, starships don’t fly. Just as stars and planets and comets don’t fly. The primary definition of to fly is to travel through the air. There is no air in space.
Though sometimes the definition includes space travel.
But the name would be better suited to an aircraft.

Firstly, what benefit would a robot gain by taking weight off its legs? Do you sometimes tip your furniture onto its side to save its legs? Secondly, if a Transformer wants to give its legs a rest, it transforms. Or, if it’s an Action Master, does a handstand. Martin |

I think I'm just less forgiving with the humanisation of Transformers compared to aliens from Star Wars, Star Trek etc. Who are mostly human shaped.
But then so are Transformers. But then they are robots/mechanical - so a chance to be more creative.
I'm fine with them adopting Earth customs after coming to Earth of course but definitely like to leave ancient Cybertron to the imagination.
But chairs irk me because (if they really did need them) they would only work for certain characters. Can Starscream even sit in a chair with arms with his wings?
Is Scavenger (who has an arm and shovel instead of a behind) not allowed to sit down at all?
