I think Shockers bought an Arcee. Because she's pink and would fit right in with his My Little Pony fetish, which he claims is due to his daughters but we know really he's the biggest Bronie on the block except Blueshift BUT she is also a dreaded movie toy.

I am a card carrying Bronie, and proud of it I might add, but it is not an Arcee toy. You're... fairly close though...

Toughie this. I can't imagine Shockers being interested in any of the film characters and he's very choosy about his toys: Sludge, Skids and Cosmos this year does show someone very tightly focused on the 84/85 mantra we know him for. There isn't much that fits with that. I can only think Ultra Magnus because I recall Shockers being interested in the CW leaders thigh colour and as we know, loving Target 2006 for nostalgasm reasons isn't quite the same as loving the film.

I do like The Magnus, but I am more than happy with ol' Red Thighs. (I actually don't associate Magnus with the ovie' all that much.)
No... this is something else.
Something that was on offer recently...
I hate myself....
(And no, Doc', it's not shitty bastard Rodimus Bastard Bollocks.)

Post by Shockprowl on Sept 4, 2022 18:20:03 GMT
The £15 Sweep Star were doing? Correct. *I* have bought a 'Movie' toy. Dirty, unholy... What have I done....? (I had a thing for Scourge when I was a foolish young person who didn't know any better. I thought he looked like Unicron. And don't forget I do like Unicron, especially after the magnificent Edge of Extinction.)

There is no shame in buying the SS86 Sweep, especially at the knock-down price of £15.

This is the thing as I said, there's a whole Target 2006 nostalgasm that is separate to the film itself and the comic narrative is definitely it's own thing that chose to include what was essentially a long cartoon episode because of the exposure it would bring - remember the US comic totally ignored the film at the time. By giving Scourge his toy colours, the Sweep really does stand out. The only minor niggle is the kibble on the back in robot mode.
