BUT, I'm doing kind of a Pinwig and not opening him! I AM MOT OPENING ANY OF THE NEW INSECTICONS UNTIL I HAVE ALL THREE IN HAND. I'm still doing that with the Dinobots. Although at this point I think I'd be hard pressed to go back to the Pottop ones if 86 Swoop somehow doesn't arrive. |

They look like the original ones but are easier to get. They also come with a new 6th member done in the style of the '85 Dinos. Great.
Dinopope comes a close second.

There is logic in what Ralph says, and he often says his priority is toys and playability over display pieces. We also know he cares not a jot for the thorny issue of scale, so on those grounds you can see why the Pottop Dino's could be favoured over the 86 ones.
Of course he's still wrong though.

The POTP Grimlock is strongly in the "could be better" category. Out of scale with the others, none of his signature weapons, very blocky back to the Dinosaur.
Do like the Deluxe limbs
The SS86 are better though.

Or underrated - depends which scale you're using to measure these things. But aye, although I don't own the SS '86 Dinobots I've played with at least one, and they just don't seem as much fun as the PottoP Dinos, despite the obvious scale issues. So yes, Grimlock may be kinda weak, but he's also more interesting, so... I may be forced to agree with the Doctor on this one. |
