I do tend to try and be forgiving in situations like this, but I don't think I would. It seems as though their order process is flawed if both Ralph and I have made orders that have effectively been lost and needed prompting to get sent. We can't be the only ones. I don't have a resolution yet: "I'll get back to you this afternoon" never happened yesterday.

Ugh and I paid £8 odds in deposit for figures I ended up getting elsewhere and already have in hand. I notice they don't even have an option to cancel your order, without having to send a message.

Certainly annoying we're now into a four day weekend so the chances of any contact are minimal until the middle of next week.
I would file a claim, but they're the cheapest on the net for Faker and their site still claims they have them in stock. This should be easily resolved!

So! We have a "This year I shall be mostly eating" thread begun by Ralph in 2007 and a "This year I shall be eating" thread begun by Chris in 2008. Both still active. How has Phil tolerated this for so long, and what will he do about it??? Martin Phil may also want to know there are two Geeky Nerd Toys threads in the sightings forum and they certainly don't deserve that (messaged again last night, no response. Time to give up on the cheap Faker and complain through Paypal).

Toysarama have also ignored the contract form message I sent them yesterday asking why my order has been 'Preparing to Ship' for over a week. Not having much luck atm.

Was it a pre-order with Toysarama? When I had the Eternian Palace Guards on pre-order from them, it seemed to be showing as 'preparing to ship' for a good week or so, yet I did see a post somewhere about them receiving stock after that date. Weird.
I did get my figures, but they did show as preparing for a while.

No, the order was for stuff the site showed as in stock. Even if that's normal for them they should at least point out that 'preparing to ship' doesn't mean anything of the sort. I've tried them through Facebook instead of email but haven't had anything back.
Complaint filed with Paypal tonight about Nerd toys.

Refunded by Nerd toys less than an hour later. They say the order was sent and they are following up with royal mail but because I made a complaint they've cancelled the order and refunded. No, 'would you like us to send these items to you', just an automatic refund.
So, if it had been sent why didn't the order page say so or they tell me on any of the three times I contacted them? Also, the passive aggressive suggestion this is my fault because I filed a claim isn't appreciated. Oddly quick to refund given the awful communication over the last month.
