I am collecting all of the 'Best of' Specials. They all (so far, with 3 left to come) include IDW and Marvel material (though the Starscream one lacks the latter, oddly).
No Dreamwave material though. Rights issues? A lack of suitable issues to put in themed character Specials?

It is a comic full of joy for sure. And lots of Hub names in the credits. Most fun TF read I've had for a long time. I'm intrigued by that Euro MB universe where Jetfire is the Autobot leader, there's huge fun to be had there.

Keep an eye out for The Best of Shockwave, which is out today.
The New Order reprint uses the miscoloured Transformers US #5 as a basis and features red Shockwave in several panels.

The only reason I'm getting these is because FP get confused if I ask for specific Transformers titles and I often don't end up getting them kept, so I just asked for them all and buy them anyway. Especially since if I put them back on the shelf - even if I turned up first thing in the morning on new comic book day - they'd get grumpy. So here I am. Kind of glad there'll be no TF comics for a bit...

It is a great collection of stories, even with the colour issue. I was a little disgruntled to pay £6.80 in Forbidden Planet (IIRC the Optimus Prime and Rarities issues were around £6.30). though I suppose it's still cheaper than the original issues would have cost on release.
I missed the Best of Grimlock issue a few weeks ago, though have a strong urge to track it down for the G2 issue.

I've been getting them all from FP online at £4.60 a pop. I cannot resist 100-page specials. I only wish they were squarebound for the shelf.

I ended up stopping my standing order there as the service was so bad and stuff kept getting missed, or if they'd sneak some random stuff in and say they thought I'd wanted it. |

Aye. It's actually gotten a lot better since they moved to the larger store and presumably got more staff in to help deal with it. The only times an item's been missing recently is when they've not actually been supplied with it. So it's a little better. Although I remain cautious.

Finally got a copy of Best of the Rarities! Had to order it from the US, so between shipping and tax it cost about 4x the original retail but I think I'd be kicking myself forever to have missed this
