Hot Wheels Snoopy found in Smyths. Moulded Snoopy sitting on top of his hut, which now has wheels and an engine.
£1.69 well spent.

Ooh, and in my local toyshop, a Hot Wheels Batman 5-pack I haven't seen before, including variants of the '60s Batmobile and the Dark Knight Rises 'Bat' which I didn't have, and a Gotham City Police car.

Y'know, I reckon Martin could give most Hubbers a run for their money in the totals in the Misc Acquisitions thread. He's quite the dark horse these days...

Quite possibly. Though in my head, what I buy falls within well-defined boundaries, so I don't think of my purchases as miscellaneous.
For example, my Eldrador Creatures collection is now complete up to date - all creatures from the last two years' catalogues have been acquired, avoiding the space-consuming ice fortress and the robots and mini-creatures which do nothing for me (apart from the Shadow Master Robot).
Hot Wheels: Batman vehicles from the '60 series, Batman Forever and Dark Knight Trilogy only (none of this 'The Batman' rubbish), two KITTs, an X-Men Blackbird - and only the black variants of all the aforementioned. Two BttF DeLoreans, and a Star Wars landspeeder. That's it.
MotU Origins has been dead to me since Leech and Teela/Zoar, and only the odd thing like Screeech now interests me in that line.

I think we've all got defined boundaries for purchases, well I agree I do. I've always thought of the Misc Acquisitions thread as being 'anything other than Transformers' for the purposes of this forum, but I see it can also be interpreted as 'a random spur of the moment purchase because it seemed appealing at the time'. I'm not sure I do that at all now, because I'm too entrenched in defined goals and complete sets, even if I've defined what 'complete' means, (such as: any Origins figures that are to do with the original 80s line... or Sun Man apparently. Not sure how that happened. Oh yes, Matt Marshall's fault).

Surely the Miscellaneous Acquisitions thread is just for things that don't have their own thread?
MotU, G.I. Joe, Eldrador Creatures, Marvel Legends and Hot Wheels all have threads.

Yes indeed, that's what I meant really. However because most of what we buy does have individual threads, we have no way to stop Shockprowl triumphing here because he'll make up his own rules.

Some of the 2023 Monster Trucks are really nice, but I'm trying not to have a relapse.

I have discovered that Hot Wheels play sets have the most frustrating stickers ever. Zero tolerance in placement.

Godzilla Hot Wheels Monster Truck found in the Entertainer! The cross-sell on the back indicates a 60's Batmobile Monster Truck also exists.

On a Hot Wheels run at the moment as Aldi have a load in cheaper than elsewhere. I've always liked small partly die-cast cars since I was very ickle.
I know very little about real-life cars and they hold minimal interest for me. I just like wee toy cars that look cool, from time to time.
I did get a nifty HW 'water bomber' plane though. Looked funky.

It's a crushed car for you to roll your Monster Truck over. You can also connect it to any other crushed car pack-in.

Big Monster Truck relapse today! Barbie Campervan, hot dog sausage and the one with the shark tank.
I get more joy out of these £5 toys than most £25+ modern TF's.
