If Fans Toys continue with theirs I'll stick with that. The finish will be ten times better. MP toys should feel premium for the price and they don't these days.

Skids didn't break the bank, but I'll agree that materials wise it definitely didn't feel in hand as premium as it could do.
However, with recent increase in freight shipping and rising cost of oil I'd expect sad times ahead.
The pound is trending up against the yen, which will bring the base price down a bit, but not enough to compensate I fear.

It's certainly interesting that they're still going ahead with these considering what a good job the Generations toys are doing of replicating their G1 counterparts. But I guess there's still a demand for these, so hopefully they'll keep making them for those that want a complete collection. But that certainly doesn't include me - I'm not nearly rich enough for Masterpieces these days...

Between NI hike and energy spiking, I'm already over £300 worse off a month thanks to Boris. So any temptation for this is easily negated!
And that's before inflation hits 10%!

Gonna be £140 ish though Freight and import duty tho  He's got two different vehicle modes? Grapple and Inferno had replaceable bumper for cartoon/real world looks. This could be something similar? |

Saw TFDQ review. Didn't sell me on it. Proportions all a little whackadoo and body seemed a bit gappy.
Anyone else got any way to sell me on this figure?

Not really. He seems similar to the MP Hot Rodimus, where he's all legs and the the body is where all the problems are. And I liked MP Hot Rodimus!
