Morning All!
It's Monday! 2022 week 20
Yesterday: Decent day :-) Bit of a surprise actually after a bad night's sleep and a morning where I struggled to get going. A little twitchy towards the end of church as the weather deteriorated. L was waiting for us when we got home. Struggled to get off when I got into bed at 2ish but then slept till nearly 6 and made it out to the church worship night. Sorted out a visitor for next week which leaves me able to make an attempt on London this week if body & head are up to it.
Off quickly and 8 hours sleep, Thank You Lord!
Today: L checking over J's past paper attempt from Friday with him then they're both off to a meeting at college. J staying for lessons, L going to see her Mum then her Dad who's still in hospital. And me? Not sure....
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Next week's trip cancelled as the train fares were way out of my pay scale at the moment (thanks, Boris). So popped to Manchester for a wander, during which I realise that covid times has reduced my tolerance for shops that just aren't nice to shop in.
Waterstones was nice though. Had books in my hand but left empty handed as I felt rather unwell: pounding head, heavy sweating nausea. Managed the train back without being sick (just). Jen came and got me and I then destroyed a bin before retreating to bed for most of the day. Still feel off, though thankfully the head is now normal sore rather than mindblowing head sore.

Visited a local cafe I have never been in. Pricey, but very clean and nice with great service and great. Managed about 90 mins of being there and reading a book before physical discomfort was too much too bear. Brought some cake in a box home for Jen.

I finally got my friends Transformers Definitive Collection books sent to the US. Relief.
So much hassle. UPS is not user friendly.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: Another VERY good day, and one that went nearly exactly as planned. 6 buses, a bit of shopping, fab lunch, fab dinner. RESULT
Today: Need to sort something for lunch. Maybe Sandwiches, maybe veggie place. An out either way, which could be interesting as I'm a bit wobbly post rain/doing too much yesterday. Then going out for dinner tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT and Head cope OK. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

I leave my job of nine years tomorrow. It's mixed feelings honestly, but I need to get out before I go completely doo-lally.

I have been in a similar situation. -Ralph It really sucks, doesn't it? I almost wish I despised everything about the job, just so it'd be easier.

I suggest a nice cupboard for Mrs Shocks. Maybe a sideboard if you're pushing the boat out.
Next year it's kitchen appliances.

This week has all been about pushing myself out of my pandemic-era comfort levels. Maybe a bit too much too far in 6 days as I did not cope well with a heaving town centre (Stockport) and conked out for a few hours when we got back. I was completely out for the count. May have been a tad overstimulated.
Loved the WWII bunker though and found the last Muppet Lego Minifig I needed.
