Was he in stock? He isn't now.
It's nice to think that Smyths have done this right - solid case Cosmos and an assortment for the other deluxes. Maybe they learned from Netflix Bee.

Maybe they learned from Netflix Bee. I've got some memory of there being solids of BB somewhere (RK?). Will go look in the Netflix thread later.

Probably that bit where you have to tuck the flap behind his neck flat against his back. That held me up for ages.

.. which prevents you hooking the shoulders onto the nubs. And only works if the back panel is pulled out the right amount.

This cosmos toy is the absolute nuts. Both forms are spot on, the peg at the back was hard to fathom without looking but it’s just great. More like this please?

The instructions are really not clear on that bit. I too felt the rage beginning to rise sorting that bit out and I think I resorted to a video too.

Yeah, we got stuck there, too. Also, as said upthread or elsewhere, the tolerances were really tight on some of the parts, including the arms, so even when we got the positioning right it required an alarming amount of force to get them to snap in. Happily however I can confirm that subequent transformations have been smoother, after everything got moving that first time.

I got the non-cosmos deluxes today.
Clampdown and Burn Out look nice. Blurr is goofy fun with his wheels that aren't even close to the ground And I'm so glad I didn't waste money on Arcee, because it really is an awful mold. Glad for Road Rocket, but I'd be less enthused about him if I'd gotten her first.
