Yeah, the Velocitron set was Walmart, here. She did make it out, I even saw her.
But walmart had a bunch of wave one blurrs, road rockets, and black skids shelfwarming, so she barely made it out.

Crasher and Shadowstrip never made it here. IDToys had some briefly (<3 hours) on import. Their distribution worldwide was poor..... Pulse US had them briefly but I'm not sure if they were ever seen in US stores - EDIT they were, see above. Behind the scenes things happened with the second Velocitron wave the details of which remain unclear. Galaxy Shuttle, who was available OK here, didn't reach the US and Velocitron Hot Rod looks cancelled. Robotkingdom have Shadowstrip and Crasher www.robotkingdom.com/f30755l01.html |

I was lucky enough to be out in Singapore during the brief window that Crasher was available there. Although even then she was only available in specialist shops, and not at general retail. (And pretty much everythign is available at general retail there - it's very depressing.) I thought I was just being lucky in picking her up a couple of days ahead of the UK - didn't think she'd never actually make it here...
