That's very worrying.
£16.99 on TFExpress (although their postage is a lot for a single figure). I'd rather see Hasbro listen to the retailers though and Kapow be dealt with properly. A month delay in shipping figures for a cheaper price I can understand, doubly because it means stock is more likely to be available longer if Kapow can order the volume they want, but as soon as they start missing figures out, the question of reliability kills the whole process.
What I would say is that Chromia is clearly a duff figure, being a mould we've already had a couple of times and reduced in functionality to boot. I can see the argument for removing it. It's not like they'd ditch a first run figure or something people actually want.

Oh yes. This'll go wrong at the Hasbro UK end at some pt. I've been passed a rumour this morning that a certain w2 deluxe has been skipped by Hasbro UK. Interestingly a toy from w2 is currently unavailable at both Kapow and ID Toys. And it's not the one I'd have had any money on selling out first. I've put the question to Kapow on FB in the thread linked above - and where that leaves us who ordered all 4 in one go - and raised some wider concerns, most of which are elsewhere in that FB thread. And it was my day off, so got a successful hunt in and came home with Sixgun and Ironhide. Prowl actually looks pretty great! I didn't expect to but I ummed and arred between him and Ironhide. Like others have said the proportions look absolutely fine in the plastic. Chromia though looks much worse than I expected, a very easy pass. The story as I heard it was "No Chromia in the UK cases" but I guess may have changed on the way to m'learned colleague from "No solid cases of Chromia" |

There were two of each toy on the shelves, it was just a normal supermarket, sort of the German equivalent of ASDA, and it's European packaging if any of that helps.
I haven't been following all this Hasbro UK supplying-the-online-retailers thing in detail, are they supposed to be normal retail cases or special cases for the collector market? I would have thought the collector market is exactly where you _wouldn't_ skip a figure...

Nobody knows for sure! We assumed they were getting normal retail cases till we heard about Chromia and they got solids of Soundwave.

One of the UK suppliers has solid cases of Ironhide, Prowl and Chromia listed, no Sixgun yet.

I thought it weird that we could get an assortment case that didn't have Chromia. Similar has happened. A few years ago the UK cases of Rogue One Wave 3 lost all their Grand Admiral Thrawns in favour of repacking another earlier figure. Andu and I are still cross about this. |
