It's a really nice looking Prowl, but I'm struggling to feel I need it because the original is so nicely stylised anyway. So is this two new motorbike moulds in the same wave? Nothing reworked from the previous ones?

Neither bike looks like a rework or Arcee.
That wave will contain Crosscut though - Silver Skids with new head.

Off the top of my head, i agree with Phil for Sideways.
But it'd also be a damn good Cheetor. Wouldn't even need a new head.
And surprisingly, it also would be a damn good left field choice for Waspinator. Has the exact right silhouette, and all the right parts in the right places, while being a foreshadowing of Thrust. Which would double as a backdoor e-Rapid Run

But it's not a 'G1' Prowl; the accepted description of the era that entirely engorges my nostalgasm for The Transformers . I have my Samurai Animated Prowl. No warrior needs anything more, surely? |

It'll be interesting to see what they do go for, though - it could well be Sideways as Phil suggests. And the old question of "is he well known enough" is no longer valid in this age of Jhiaxus. But otherwise, yeah, I think I like this Prowl. I think it's a good G1-ification of Animated Prowl, and to my eyes a little more successful than the G1-ified Prime Bulkhead. Surprising that it's not another retool of Arcee, but then they did get three uses out of that one mold, so I guess it's time for something new. And also, Legacy Prime Arcee's a terrible mold, so good that there's a new one. The Junkion looks fun, too. I like that they're continuing to go in this direction, even if it's not necessarily for me. |

Thanks for sorting out the images  Not keen on Prowl, but I've never liked the skinny sculpts of TF Animated. The Junkion actually looks nice and beefy though. Might be one I pick up when released. Think I'm all spent for now though, after having recently picked up a £56 Kingdom Rodimus, to go with his £49 stable-buddy Kingdom Ultra Magnus! |

Thanks for sorting out the images Not a problem. The story just happened to break while I was sleeping. Not keen on Prowl, but I've never liked the skinny sculpts of TF Animated. I like this Prowl. More solid and chunky than the original, fits the overall TF aesthetic but has hints of the animated specifics, like the chin. |

As ever, for me, it's all about the groups/teams/sets of figures. If I've got a remit to collect a set, I'm in. Random one off purchases I do not like. That mentality causes me no end of problems, see: MotU.

So looking at Sideways, the wheels end up in the wrong place, but otherwise Prowl is an exact silhouette match.
We've gotten great toys from worse matches, recently. (Both skywarp and terrorsaur weren't great matches for Airazor, but both turned out great)
I am going to be extremely disappointed if Sideways doesn't happen.
