Sounds like a good plan.
I'll not be watching the livestream either. There will be threads on here, and folk on social media with screencaps. There is literally no reason I need to watch the stream. (I miss the days when Hasbro did their announcements like a sensible company - social media, website and trade shows. So much easier than "here is a giant livestream full of irrelevant cruft" which we are calling PulseCon. Presumably on the grounds that they are trying to persuade marks to part with their money - if they were just taking the money directly it'd be PulseHeist... :-) )

I've taken this week off work on account of realising I've not actually had a week off work so far this year (loads of longish weekends and days here and there, but no big chunks), and it being Jo's birthday week seemed to make sense. And with the Scraplet now being at nursery Wednesdays to Fridays I was looking forward to some actually free time. Jo and I had actually booked to go out for lunch on Friday - the first time we'd have been out for a meal just the two of us since early 2020! The downside to this (and the relevant point) being that we were aiming to get back just in time for missing the nursery pick up, so we were going to miss the PulseCon stream. Which, you know, isn't missing much, and I enjoy watching it more when I'm sat at my desk and meant to be working instead, but you know, I wanted to watch and support Thew and stuff.
So, luckily for me, it turns out it's the long school weekend this weekend, which the nursery hadn't told us about (we were off with Covid when they told everyone the dates*), so the Scraplet's not at nursery tomorrow. Hurrah! Which means no time for just Jo and me, and I guess that whatever we're doing now I'll be home in time to watch the stream. Which will be... a small consolation.
Oh well.
Anyway, just over 24 hours to go, not a lot of time left for everything to get leaked. These people are slacking...
(*Yes, I could've checked the council term time dates, but the nursery's open for some kids even when it's not term time. He was in all over the summer holidays, for example. So it's confusing!)

Toy fair isn't far off, I'd imagine they've split the announcements between the two. I haven't had a chance to watch today's stream yet, but having had a partial reveal for Tidal Wave and Magmatron, maybe we'll see those at that. Also, wasn't PowerLinx Hot Shot supposed to be a Pulsecon exclusive? Where did that go? |

Just spotted that in the other thread, ta. I'd looked on pulse quickly earlier and didn't see anything. I've only just got as far as being able to catch up properly.
Pulsecon seems to have been a much smaller event than last year, but then having it a week before Toy Fair seems a tad daft.
