I need to look into transport and stuff. I am considering doing it as a day-trip like Martin, as this would mean I didn't have to haul my CPAP machine to Swindon - and also no-one else has to put up with hearing my CPAP machine at night. It may depend on train ticket prices and availability. (I am told that the CPAP machine is quieter than my snoring, but as Kiryu's Absolute Zero Cannon is quieter than my snoring that doesn't really establish a baseline)

Failed to book ticket online as it doesn’t take PayPal and my bank card struggles to make some online purchases these days (as I don’t have a smartphone the bank sent me a card reader thing for authentication but it’s rubbish) so I’ll just turn up and try to buy a ticket on the day.

Yes, I know, I’m there too, but I completely lost everyone after the first Robot Wars so I’ve gone out into the retail outlet to get free WiFi and see if I can learn where they’re all hiding.
Edit: All is well. Found everyone.
Edit edit: And as Ralph pointed out, there is free WiFi in Steam, once you know the password.
