So, Nova Prime is now out in the wild, so to speak? For an 'Amazon Exclusive' figure it's not appearing on Amazon.co.uk yet, or is it just a pre-sale exclusive being sent out to collectors? I believe it was on Amazon UK for preorder months ago, now long gone www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Legacy-Evolution-Leader-Action/dp/B0BDHHBXMZPulse, IDToys and others had theirs a good while back. Mine arrived from Pulse 27th July

Haha,,,my bad. I just noticed the dates on most of the posts in the thread! It appeared on my main forum screen as a thread with a recent post, so I overlooked the fact that most of the messages were from months ago and figured it was something new

It was an Amazon UK for a good while, it only went a couple of weeks ago. I've still got it on a wishlist but never had the money spare to buy it.

*checks*
£72.29 shipped at the moment. I will keep a vague hope that UK restock it at some point, or it turns up in a bargain bin.

Those who were on the call this week will be pleased to hear that today, with the aid of the instructions, I was able to work out what I was doing wrong and have transformed Javelin. Still can get everything to tab in quite right though.

I got the Deadeye Duel Set today. They are nice, if somewhat boring figures of two ladies I have no idea who they are. I don't dislike them, but they do not instill excitement, nor offer any surprises like some others ("Shockwave" being pretty great in hand, despite him being really terrible in concept, and Megatron looking much lovelier in hand while being really boring in pictures). I have nothing bad to say (except I am sick to death of those stupid tiny "grenades" that are built into the chromia mold), but I also have nothing overly supportive to say about the set. They're not another version of an 84-86 character, at least? I think this covers my views almost perfectly now that I have them! Javelin is the nicer one of the pair. It's nice to see some new characters and some relatively uncommon colour schemes, but there's nothing exciting about this. Maybe I'd be more into it if I'd read the IDW 2019 comics.

Reading this made me realize it's their deco that ultimately brings them down. Being new characters, they could have been anything. Instead with their complicated, yet still somehow generic detailing, combined with their muted and borderline pastel base colors, they look like background characters drawn by Alex Milne but colored by Nelson Yomtov. One of them could have been a rich hunter green, while the other pearly white, or anything, really. Although maybe pearly white isn't a great idea with Hasbro's current problem.
