Big fan of the town, nice cathedral, fond memories of days at West Wittering beach. It's an acquired taste to be sure, but I love both the slightly more trad earlier part of the run with Lee Weeks on art and then watching Scott McDaniel blossom until we get the glorious madness of Fall From Grace and then Tree of Knowledge (a story ahead of its time if ever there was one - IMO Chichester is a writer who "got" the implications of the internet and related tech, could have been an interesting Iron Man writer). I even like the much-maligned new costume. Falls off a cliff just after that (the final issues, some of which he took his name off of, are near-unreadable and the Elektra limited series, which he did keep his name on, is also dreadful), but otherwise I don't see it as being far behind the great Daredevil runs.

Although Chichester has caused many problems for drivers with stammers/stutters asking for directions to Chester, I remember my one visit to the town fondly as I saw Patrick Stewart in two different plays (Macbeth and Twelfth Night) on consecutive days.

Chichester has its uses. If I need to go to see my mother and stepfather then it is the nearest railway station. It has a Waterstones where I bought a Jack Campbell book one Christmas, and a good museum.

Used to live near it and worked there for a few months after uni. Pleasant town. And used to be *the* place for getting Star Trek CCG cards.

Intentionally?
I had to change trains at Havant a lot in the olden days. It is a station that holds many memories. Many of which involve hypothermia.

I spent two years at college in Havant. Spent a lot of it drunk, too. These two facts may or may not be related.
