I am very pleased with this one. I am now eagerly anticipating commander Magnaboss and/or Tripredacus When I saw this my first thought was, I wish this was Magnaboss, but then I thought they'd probably argue that couldn't be done as a commander because the three beast modes would need individual robot modes on top of the combined mode. I haven't bought any BW generations figures but I would buy a Magnaboss set if the three individual robots were voyager size. Three deluxes would be too small. |

Honestly, they don't all need to be voyager. They don't even need to be all the same size. Ironhide could be. And probably should be, if not larger. He makes the bulk of Magnaboss after all, as well as the world's largest extant land animal. The others could be easily smaller than voyager while still being significantly larger than deluxes. Niftiest thing about this as a commander threepack, is they don't have to conform to the standard class sizes. Also, I was thinking Maggie here may be testing the waters specifically for BW commanders. 'cuz dang, there's more potential there than G1. • Magnaboss • Tripredacus • Tripledacus redeco • Optimal Optimus • Primal Prime redeco • Tankor And if you wanted to pad it out • Torca • Elephorca redeco • Galvatron • Gigastorm • Big Convoy • Scavenger I don't want Galvatron or Big Convoy as anything but leader, bit I can easily see them being put there. And to me, Torca and Scavenger both work as voyager, leader, or commander. |

I'm assuming this is a "fan mode" more than an actual official mode, since it's not been included in any previous promo photos. No, it's official. It's designed for this, they just didn't have enough prototypes on hand to show it off before. They talked about this when they revealed him. |

Only Landsaur is a dinosaur. |

That combined beast mode looks ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS though. Did the original do that? I seem to remember it might have a combined beastie mode, but I've never done it with mine. I'm tempted to get the new one but I... I just don't know though. The original is still so good. |
