You couldn't pay me to even want to buy this. The very definition of pointless. -Ralph The originals are 22 years old, they have age related issues. Even so, loose complete to MISB run between £70-150 each. The Encore reissue got recalled, but before that cost more than this version. The ones still in circulation go for even more. You dont have to like it, but it is a valid alternative so I wouldnt call it pointless. I should add, its not pointless if you dont have originals and would like them or something very close. If you do have the originals, then Im less certain if they are worthwhile. |

Not for me, but I like Bluebolts. I have never handled an RID UM but I do have a set of bluebolts in my bitsbox and I have no idea what role it plays in the creation of Ultra Magnus.

Who ever looked at something like this and said "I was on the fence, but hell yeah! If I can get a stand, I'm all in!!!"
Where's T-AI? She should be Tier 2! Koji should be Tier 1!
The object is to make people want it. Make people talk their friends into buying it, to increase the backers. Not offer something so minimal that people wouldn't be upset if it doesn't reach that goal.
The dang stands should be included automatically.

I've seen a few Youtubers mention it, but it's £249.99 in the UK and $249.99 in the USA, meaning we're having to pay an extra 25% for the privilege.
It SHOULD be £196.97 at the current exchange rate.

Just not much difference between him and the normal colors. So yeah, I wouldn't mind him being altered to better match. But even if not, it'd still be a cheaper deal than the original banana prime by himself. |

I rather like this set and for once I'm finding a Haslab price tag to be quite reasonable. Maybe I've finally been worn down by all the price hikes over the last few years. I don't have the money for it, mind, but if I did, I'd be backing it. I'm not sure what I make of Bluebolts. It's a neat figure, but they seem to be fudging a new character without reason. Would it have been better to save on the engineering and instead use the money to include T-AI and/or Koji? |
