What I want to know is this: The chamber of Primus must be hidden somewhere deep on Cybertron, since it went undisturbed for millions of years until Bumblebee, Jazz, Bludgeon and co. got accidentally teleported to it in 'Yesterday's Heroes', and then teleported out again in 'Primal Scream'. And yet when Galvatron, Hook, Line and Sinker attacked Autobase just prior to Unicron's arrival, Xaaron was able to take Galvatron to Primus in less time than it took Hook, Line and Sinker to subdue Landfill, Quickmix and Scoop. How did Galvatron and Xaaron get there so quickly? And then how did Hook, Line and Sinker get there so quickly, given that Galvatron was now out of Unicron's sight? Was everyone using the Space Bridge to get from the surface down to Primus? Or had Xaaron relocated Autobase to directly over Primus' chamber following 'Primal Scream' so that it was possible to get there really quickly without teleporting? Which would suggest it wasn't that deep underground after all. What do people reckon? Martin Maybe it's like the game Room in five doctors and behind a harp

Actually Cybertron is just a giant Saturn sized Quintesson.
What we call the surface and upper levels of Cybertron are just cosmic dust and accumulation covering the heads over time.
So the Primus Head is just one of five and not that far below the surface.

Or alternatively (as I suggested in a 'science' story a few years ago) Cybertron is just the Saturn sized shell of a Dyson Sphere around a brown dwarf star. Therefore everything is close to the surface.
I've always wondered what else was happening on Cybertron given the vast size of the planet and how the War only ever seems to focus on regions within easy travelling distance of Tarn/Vos/Iacon/Kalis.
Mentions of the war engulfing the 'whole' planet always struck me as a bit like how Mesopotamia flood myths (like Noah) have floods covering the whole Earth when any actual basis they had was for localised flooding.

Martin I would suggest Primus was able to reconfigure his form, and was changing his shape beneath the surface in order to allow Xaaron and Galvatron to reach him. Also it may not have been buried deep, but simply sealed off and after his awakening Primus simply unsealed it. Andy

I know but there is some wiggle wrong if you take G2 into account, ie the many worlds of the Cybertronian Empire, ie potentially more than one Cybertron. Surely Primus would be smart enough to have several decoys to fool Unicron? He doesn't bother turning into robot mode when Unicron attacks the Cybertron he is supposed to be on...

Or alternatively it could never transform and the Autobots had stopped the plan to turn it into a mobile battle station that could take on Unicron.

There's nothing in Marvel to suggest Cybertron transforms. And anyway, if it can transform, maybe Primus gives it more thought than Unicron and realises that legs are of no benefit when you're a planet-sized entity floating in space. This is all an interesting idea though. I hope the originator runs us a story out of it..? This thread has inspired me to write a story, but I only have the first part worked out, and don't know where it will end up. Want to hear how it begins? Martin

There's nothing in Marvel to suggest Cybertron transforms. There's a giant head inside it Firstly, it's a face, not a head, and secondly, it's not big enough to be the planet's head. Martin

Transformers are not people, they are space robots. Who is to say he doesn't turn into a robot with a tiny pin head?? Or indeed no head at all. Or legs. And he could be a face/head with a spherical planet-shaped body rather than a humanoid body. So the existence of the face isn't really evidence of anything either way. Martin

Cough. Mt Rushmore.
Could be that Primus only ever envisioned it as a means of communication not self-representation.
Or that whatever religion worshiped in the Primus chamber constructed it themselves.
And yes, Martin Story please!!
