And you can't say "morning" until it is actually morning. At this time it is night.

It's Easter Monday - 1st April 2024 Week 14
Yesterday: Good, but oh so tiring. Made it through service OK, saw Jonathan be baptised :-) 2 sets of visitors in afternoon, ever so tired in evening.
Today: Leading 8am. Quiet most of the day, homegroup arriving from 4 to move some gear and have dinner.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Mrs P has gone away for a few days, so for Pinwig (aside from decorating and school work duties) the next few days will be MOTU MADNESS week. I need to get all the Origins stuff together and sort it all out as it's got a bit out of hand in the last year and there is stuff everywhere. I plan to finally build the playsets and open the unopened figures that are on knackered cardbacks. The living room will become Eternia. And if I say that out loud it might actually happen. Now, to the loft...

Weekend spent building IKEA furniture, installing new LED lighting and creating some temporary robot homes. In shocking news, I still have too much stuff.

Another IKEA delivery has arrived. I am sick of that place.

You're doing that wrong. Deliveries are supposed to come from toy shops.

An Ikea delivery is far FAR better than actually going to that hellhole!

True. Looks like our new kitchen is coming from there so there have been visits recently. Although am I right in thinking they've reversed their decision to stop selling the Billy bookcases? Was there a national outcry?

Oh I see, they didn't discontinue them, they redesigned them. That explains why they're still in the catalogue and the 'going out of stock soon' messages have gone.

Sadly, Billy is irrelevant. They redesigned them by changing one shelf and removing the pins you used to have to hammer in to the back, and get a push fit plastic thinger instead

Do they match the old ones?

Advice needed:
Long term readers will be aware that the pipework on our upstairs loo has occasionally been a little temperamental. Nothing that can't usually be solved with the plumber's spring and/or 6 kettles of boiling water tipped down the loo.
Today we are having difficulty with the toilet bowl draining. It is draining, but ever so slowly. The 6 kettles have been deployed multiple times and the plumber's spring isn't dislodging anything even at full reach
Before I get help in, anybody got any ideas I can try?

You're doing that wrong. Deliveries are supposed to come from toy shops. If only Ikea delivery charges were closer to toy-store ones! Karl
