The facebook ad for this says it's happening in the UK www.transformers40thcinemaevent.com/First four episodes of the cartoon on the big screen with a split screen round table read of the script for part one with the cast.

That's such a silly thing to do, I really hope there's one nearby.

Definitely interested but there's hardly any info on that site and I hate signing up for 'updates'.

I'm assuming there's gauging where the interest is in the country and they'll focus on the places with the best return.

That's possible. But they're not leaving much time to sell tickets if so.

Tickets in short supply and then 60% off when imported from the grey market, you reckon?

My kids would love this! I would too; but yeah, it sounds flakey.

If there is a screening within geographical reach, I shall attend. It's a nice idea.

Booking opens April 10th. Showings are three dates in May.
Hmmm. If it's just Odeon and Vue that means a trip to Manchester!

I'm interested in this, if I can get to one. Take the kids. They'll love it, well brought up as they are.

If I follow through the booking process at my local Odeon I can already book seats now. I feel I ought to go to this, but 7.45 on a school night!

Need to consult the school calendar to see if it's one of my never ending Parents' Eves. If not I'll see if I can rouse the remnants of the London (ish) crowd.

There should also be bookings for the 18th and 19th.
Tempted to book even though I suspect it wont be showing at all locations, they never seem to for these things.

Vue times seem to be up, for those who don't have an Odeon locally. evening of the 15th, Afternoon of Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th if the times for the one near me are any indications.

That's more like it. Those dates are the same in my local Vue too. Good spot.

Local Cineworld has it. Annoyingly, Cineworld card holders don't have it covered so there is a Premium Fee. Or the price of an IMAX ticket for non-card holders (but it's not in the IMAX screen).

Is it the same stuff on each day? It's an authentic reconstruction of the original UK broadcasts so each screening is just a 5-min segment of an episode. -Ralph

Go Martin! I need to know where Arrival from Cybertron with added Old Cullen will sit in your league table. This is very important!

I have booked to see grainy SD 4:3 cartoons made for telly 40 years ago on the big screen that I can watch for free at home. They will look and sound terrible and I don't care.

Booked the local Odeon (under much protest) for this. So far only 2 other tickets purchased...
