Absolutely hurling it down here. Got completely soaked on the way home. On the bright side I am working from here tomorrow, so I can stay in the warm and dry.

Spent some of this evening - once I had dried out - sorting through "stuff" some more. Interesting how now that I have some momentum on clearing out I find it much easier to keep going than it was to get going.
Filled a large plastic box I had emptied at the weekend with stuff to donate to the air ambulance shop. Working on a - if it hasn't come out of storage in the last eighteen months, serious questions need to be asked about why it is still here.
Thinking that my next stop might be the pile of large DVD wallets full of stuff. They have a track record of contributing to a mold problem in this flat, and have some permanent scarring on the outside as a result. And given how rarely a lot of the stuff inside them is watched these days, I probably need to be asking some pointed questions about its presence.

19th wedding anniversary today!
....you get less for... Intergalactic Hyperspace Piracy.
Celebrated with pizza.
Then the youngest jumped on me and I thought; huh, nineteen years laters, child jumped on me.
This is what happiness is.

19th wedding anniversary today! ....you get less for... Intergalactic Hyperspace Piracy. Depends whom accuses you of piracy. Kaiso Sentai Gokaiger were threatened with execution on several occasions by Space Empire Zangyack over allegations of piracy (mind you - Hell's Watchdog, Dekamaster let Gokai Red go when he learned the charge was levied by Zangyack, as later did Space Sherrif Gavan... So... What was my point again? I think I've forgotten...) Congratulations! Karl

Morning All!
It's Wednesday
Yesterday: Slept well, thank you Lord, but high levels of pain all day from digestion and grey then wet weather.
Awake till 2am+ :-( Awake again at 6, when #1 went to work, but that did mean I snagged the new ASM Epic cheap
Today: V wet here this morning. With the sub par night that means it won't be a terribly energetic day. I'm on my own most of today, L with Mum, J at college. Origins Extendar is due on Mattel Creations at 5 and I need to secure one for me and one for a friend. Homegroup tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Day off, all chances of a lie in ruined by Suki demanding attention just after 8.
Some housework done, waiting on the washing to finish so I can hang up before a jaunt to the prt shop for some food and treats for the demanding wee madam. Plus a few hours stretching the legs will let me make a dent on the The End and the Death Part 3 audio book.
Been very busy with lots of TFNation stuff the last few weeks.

It was still bucketing with rain this morning when I woke up, fortunately I was just walking as far as the desk to start work. It has stopped raining now, but I am remaining inside for my lunchtime, been sorting through my small set of Godzilla toys, confirming that most of these have reached the end of their time with me. Not because I haven't enjoyed owning them, but because one way or another it is time for them to move on and provide someone else with the joy that they have given me. Been purging the Nerf arsenal as well. I think that I am going to end up applying the same rules in turn to everything except my book collection - I curated the heck out of that a half-decade or so ago, and it hasn't grown enough since then to warrant another purge.

Back home, just before the rain started.
Bought Suki a new toy and some cookies, she seems pleased.

*Looks at the Yellow and Amber weather warnings on the forecast* Looks like we picked the wrong day to go to Cbeebies Land... Wasn't too bad in the end. We found enough rides with roofs on or indoor attractions to be ok. Couple of very heavy rain moments and Naomi and I let ourselves be soaked at one point to ride the Go Jetters Vroomster together, but lots of fun was had.

Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.

Finished work for over a week. Managed to get my inbox down to one item - and only because it cannot be progressed further before I go away, so it is there as a reminder to check on it when I come back.
Looking forward to spending some days dodding about here and there - want to get value for my IWM membership so I thought I'd visit HMS Belfast again at some point. Assuming good weather I could do with the first summer walk around the local reservoir... and I can use some of the time to carry on with my clearout here as well. DVD collection needs to be slimmed down a bit.
But first...time to collapse on the sofa for an hour or two...
