It's been broken for months - motherboard is on the way out, was warned when it was last serviced.
I've just not said anything here in order to wind Ralph up when he visited.

That it completely fails on the day Burns tries to take it to warp power...

You misunderstand me.
It's been making the alarm noise whenever anyone tries to start it for months requiring a reset everytime it stops to prevent the alarm going off.
I failed to reset it very deliberately on this occasion as I had planned to don for some time ....

Morning All!
It's SATURDAY
Yesterday: Physical struggle, a couple of major falls, and head nearly fell off early evening. Visitors all arrived
Today: Lego show if I'm up to it. Loft job for friends planned.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise The Lord
Yesterday: Made it out to the lego show, only lasted 40 mins though. Had a nice trip home in the chair in the sun and had it quiet in the house to myself till people started coming back. We then cleared a load of stuff from the loft reboxing a few thing to save space. Did the first couple of hours of the TMUK Zoom call then escorted our remaining guest back to the bungalow where he's staying.
Today: Church. Will need to leave promptly as we're having a curry lunch with the people we know who were staying in swindon for the Lego show.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

My run-down state of late has of course now went full lurgy. I look forwards to sleeping in the car after lunch.
I always get lurgy at the change of seasons. Tradition!

I have returned home, after standing on three different trains and having a wait of over an hour at Coventry because the train I would have caught from their was cancelled, and the next one ended up ten minutes late...
Everything about this weekend, apart from the trains home, was wonderful however! It was lovely to see a load of great people once again, after a lapse in time of varying lengths. The LEGO show was marvelous, and I have had fine food. Even came back an unexpected Gunpla the better off. I now have a kettle on for a cup of tea, and can look forward to a days annual leave on Monday to start ferrying Wave 1 of things to the charity shop.
Thanks to all involved for a fine weekend.
(Except for CrossCountry trains, who need to be reminded that the capacity of eight train carriages does not fit into four carriages no matter how much they tell us to "squash up inside or the train isn't going anywhere"...)

14 hours of painting this weekend, but the living room has gone from bare plaster to a solid white undercoat. Realised we might well need a radiator in there before long, so better paint it first.
