Got up at 11am. Feel rubbish. Not planning on doing much other than seeing sister-in-law for her 50th.
Few more days before I can get back to running yet, I think.

Did you know that for every two pieces of coal that we burn... a snowman loses his sight.
Why are so many British towns and cities named after football teams?
If I had a crystal ball, I'd sit down very carefully.
I've ended National Curry Week with an evening at the theatre listening to a man wearing a giant samosa on his head.
Milton Jones... he tried singing 'Away in a Manger' but couldn't remember how the second line went. Fortunately he had a crib sheet.
Apparently nobody knew who Milton's father was... which made dinner conversations with him awkward.
His teachers predicted he would gain special powers. He's still waiting to be able to see through walls and across infinite distances... they said that he would receive supervision.
His house was designed by a boy he went to school with. Really, the builders should have waited for him to grow up and get an architectural qualification of some sort first...
Etc.

Milton live is fab. Relentless one liners but unceasingly hysterical.

Aerial view of one bald man having a conversation with another bald man over the fence, about the two windsurf boards he has in his garden. Milton Jones' grandfather had one great regret on his death bed... spilling his drink on his electric blanket.
And spare a thought for that poor swimmer who won the 200 metre butterfly... Where on Earth would they keep it?

More venturing into the depths of the Cupboard today. Transferrring Gunpla for storage into the large Really Useful Box obtained in the week for that purpose. It neatly fits them all with room to spare for future builds. Whilst I was there though I also pulled out the LEGO box. I need to have a think about this - it has all been sat in the box pretty much untouched since I moved down here from Scotland - nearly 8 years ago... I've got a colleague whose son is rather fond of LEGO from what she's said. I'm wondering if the time has come to offer it to a child who will get the value from it, rather than have it sitting in my cupboard doing nowt. (The box stays - that was made over four decades ago by Dad, in the days when we was capable of carpentry, and is still going strong. Even if it no longer contains LEGO I will find a new purpose for it!)
