So Phil's child is officially an adult? Celebrate of course, but madness may result 'Cos if like me you cried "I'm not ready!" Time just laughs and your chin feels unsteady

Realised at the start of the week just how absolutely bone-weary I am. I think that it is a combination of the usual Seasonal effects on my anxiety/depression, and the almost half a year of uncertainty about my immediate future that I've been dealing with this year finally catching up with me.
I've taken Friday off, and am planning to spend a long weekend pottering around the flat, might donder out for coffee and cake at an independent cafe up the road from me, watch a bit of stuff on the tele-box and do some reading.
I think I can feel a few quiet weekends coming up in the immediate future, see if I can get myself back on an even keel.

Morning All!
It's Thursday
Yesterday: mainly quiet day, mostly thinking about Avengers Epics 14 & 15. Double Jabbing went well, don't feel too bad so far, but made the mistake of leaning on my left arm by the fridge again. Good Homegroup, with two of our number joining us on zoom in a car driving round my old manor - their sat nav told me where they were when they were close to my old work and they ended up on a street closer to Mum's where I've changed buses on more than one occasion! Made me smile....
Today: L teaching. Food order due. Day set aside in case I'm rocky post jab. If OK lunch out. Need to pack for trip to London tomorrow for Operation Remove The Ramp. Taskmaster final tonight.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Morning All!
It's Friday!!!!!
Yesterday went OK. I'd written it off for post jab grottiness but was generally OK. Fab lunch out for Jonathan's 18th birthday which is TODAY!!!!! I'm not going to be around for a lot of it though as I need to go to London for Operation: Retrieve The Ramp which is being run tomorrow with the assistance of some friends from church. Will take advantage of an increasingly rare trip up there to have dinner with one friend and possibly meet another beforehand.
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Good Morning from SW London for potentially the last time!
It's Saturday!!!!!
Yesterday: Made it up to London OK, lunch out in the Four Regions in Kew, not enough sleep when I got to Mum's house, then an evening out involving two friends consecutively. That may have been a bit too much as when I got back I ran out of go big time and needed some assistance from my brother cos I couldn't cope with another trip down the stairs - stairlift has gone here.
Today: Operation: Rescue the Ramp. Mum had a lovely new wheelchair ramp in her back garden we want for the bungalow. Friends are driving up today with their van, normally used to secure motorbikes in, to fetch the pieces of the ramp back to Swindon for us. I am then following by train once the rugby at Twickenham is underway and Rugby fans are no longer on the trains. I could be doing better this morning... Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray everything goes as planned. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

First half of the job is done. Catherine and Clive have multiple ramps in their van and are on their way back to pig hill. They will meet Liz at the bungalow at 3.
I will update here on progress later but not before I myself am safely home. Rugby kicks off 5:45, my booked train is 6:07 from Richmond, which is a couple of stops close to London than Twickenham. In Theory the Rugby fans should be safely contained at that point. I will update the call on my progress by text and hopefully on for a bit c8:30/9:00.

Morning All!
It's Sunday - Praise the Lord!
Yesterday: Everything went to plan, ramps collected and brought back to Swindon and, bar a 371 driver who had an "interesting" drive to Richmond, I got home OK. Absolutely shattered when I got home though!
Today: Church, my chair. And probably a lot of sleep!
Pray Day goes OK, Sinuses, CMT, tummy and Head cope OK. Pray I sleep well tonight, getting off to sleep promptly. Pray we stay protected from the virus.
Have a good day, stay safe & well.

Ear ache but managed to be in and out of the walk-in clinic in under two actual minutes. Then had a 2-hour wait until a pharmacy opens on a Sunday. Then a further 2-hour wait before any buses back home were running. Now trapped in a traffic jam. Sigh.
