I am sure there was a double decker bus from another robot line. I'm sure Nick pointed it out to me once on-line. There's a coach among the Japan-exclusive Machine Robos. But then, Machine Robo seems to have pretty much everything. Case in point.-Nick

That is the nice thing about Machine Robo - the sheer volume of different alt-modes that it covered over the years. Especially when you are thinking about the real-world alt-modes of it's early years. There is a lot more variety than "Transformers" managed in a similar time frame. Karl

True.
There was some amount of shit in the dying days of the line though. Very very amusing shit though. Case in point: the joy of...ZOD MONSTER!

But Zod Monster, yes that is a fair point. Words cannot really describe that. Karl

Zod wasn't that late on, was it? I thought he was just part of Tonka's contribution to the line because they figured kids in the west would also like bigger toys that could survive being chucked down the stairs 14 times.

Going by the Machine Robo Wedge book, it appears to be from near the end.

This is a fun thread... The first thing that came to mind would be "Generation 1: The Inter Years" Using car molds from 1987 to 2004, I would engineer toys for a new G1 line - they would have identical aesthetic to the season 1 and 2 bots and cons -with new cars, jets and subgroups/teams... poseability would be equally bad, lots of stickers... basically a nostalgia line with a twist Either that or Transformers Pretenders: Street Prostitutes. The outer shells would all be street prostitutes. The inner robots would transform into vibrators and the like. Or jets. Pete
