Does anyone want these comics? Full series - #1-4. Please pipe up. I can't afford to give them away completely for free, as I would need p and p costs to be met in full.

LOL.
Merely that with the series being reprinted in the UK comic I don't want them anymore! If they don't go, they are fed to recycle bin!

Lol! There's a ringing endorcement of Megatron Origin if ever I heard one. I don't suppose Eric Holmes will be writing TF comics for IDW anytime soon, assuming of course that he'd even want to. I'm reviewing the series for my site at the moment and attempting to pinpoint the reasons why it isn't a very satisfying read. The concept had bucket loads of potential but the execution was poor.

It had lots of good ideas and some decent lines from time to time but suffered from classic First Time Writer Syndrome and required more ruthless editing. It would still have been passable though had it not had art that was so difficult to interpret.

Agreed. The art was a royal pain.

Even Milne thinks so! He's stated he went "ARRRRG" repeatedly when he saw how many panels and Transformers-in-panels were needed per page.

Something a good editor could and should address, also the fact is that it wasn't just the script's fault - Milne's storytelling while it's been improving didn't service the story, add to that the dark colouring and you have a bit of a mess.

You're made of sterner stuff than I Ralph. I don't think I could bring myself to bin a TF comic - even a crap one like Megs Origin, just like I'd never throw away a book. It'd have to go to a jumble sale or something. This explains why I've still got boxes of old TF/GI Joe comics that I will probably never see the back of!

I used to give old comics to Oxfam before they got sniffy about taking them and ebay fees now mean selling comics on there is mostly a waste of time. If no-one wants them then at least if they are recycled some use is made of them!

The irony is that they actually sell comics, but I found they were increasingly sniffy, and/or indifferent. Last time I tried, I was told they don't sell comics. I pointed to the big pile they had and got an "uhhhhh" response. So I dropped the box of comics I had brought to donate on the floor and left. Can't be arsed with the hassle anymore.
But, um, support Oxfam. Don't let one snotty shop put you off!
