From the list above, please choose your top must-have requirement any Transformers toy needs.
If there's nothing on the list, please specify your own requirement.

Interraction with other Transformers? Hmmm - that might go well with an Arcee and Hot Rod gift set.

Interraction with other Transformers? Hmmm - that might go well with an Arcee and Hot Rod gift set. I think to see Hot Rod comfortably interacting with Arcee, the gift set would also need to include Slapdash's Nebulan partner. I have gone for "realistic" alternate mode as it was the creepy "Man of Iron" robots in disguise element of the Transformers that most attracted me in the beginning. (It's also my favourite element of the new film as well.)

I've had to go for "realistic vehicle mode" because it is the closest to how I really feel. I don't necessarily need them to turn into something that is actually real, but I do feel that they should turn into something that looks like a thing of some kind.
That is the reason I am not fond of things like Pretenders - which turn into something that resembles a robot folded in half - but do like the Beast Machines Vehicons. It is something that Animated Megatron's vehicle mode does very well. It isn't realistic in any sense - a no-tail-rotor design with twin rotor assemblies mounted at that angle.....no-one would set out to design a helicopter like that in the real world. But it feels like it is definitively portraying the _idea_ of a helicopter very, very well indeed. (I'm not explaining this too well, but hopefully you get some idea about what I'm wittering about).
That said - it isn't really a "must have". Nothing with me is really a must-have, it is all subject to negotiation. After all, Animated Starscream's vehicle mode isn't even within a couple of miles of realistic, but I am still rather fond of his Berkut/VF-19/Overweight Duck fighter mode.

Hasbro told me when I was small that you can tell your TF is authentic by the fact it has a rub-sign.
Therefore, must-have for true Transformer = rub-sign.
Doesn't matter what it is - stick a rub-sign on it, and it's a True Transformer.

He comes out wi some good questions that Tomo don't he?
Articulation for me. I like 'em to fight fight fight!
But also interaction is important. Everyone must be the correct size to everyone else.
i.e. GRIMLOCK SHOULD BE BIIIIIIG!!!!!

I want my TF toys to stand up straight and not keel over. It's a simple want. But there's been more than one that hasn't.
I want a tioy to do what it says it can on the instructions. Especially I'd like pieces that the instructions say will fit together to actually fit together.

The articulation of the robot mode always comes first for me. If i can't get them into Dreamwave style poses, I'm not interested.
