It's the week before AA. How exciting! Not Diaclone exciiiitiiing but exciting nonetheless.
I can't wait to meet the voice of Bumblebee. I am going to take him to the nearest "teacups" ride and tickle him.
Also this week: hot weather.

I was away at my parents yesterday. When I came home this lunchtime, I had forgotten about the 6-foot tall cardboard Dalek in the hallway, strategically placed to frighten postmen when the door is opened. Well, it worked on me. Damn near shat myself. Then I felt slightly foolish and made some chicken sandwiches.

I can tell that moving that thing from Toys'r'us to your house was worth every sweat-blinded moment walking through the streets of Govan on a Saturday evening with six feet of genocidal cardboard under my arm, occasionally twirling around when the wind caught it.

What made it was worse was that after I ate my sandwiches I realised I had turkey in them and not chicken.

It isn't if you're not going :-( Never mind Phil - those of us who can't make to Auto Assembly will just have to console ourselves that we will be forming the skeleton crew of the good ship Hub, keeping her crewed and operational whilst the others are forward deployed. Sounds like Ralph's new large Dalek is a force to be reckoned with. I suspect I had better brace myself when I next approach the flat, I wouldn't want to be caught unawares by the second greatest destructive force in the universe. (You should have used it as a sunshade when you were on your way through Nick - sounds like it could have created enough shadow to cool not only yourself but large parts of Govan. Karl

Hello sports fans!
I've been blocked again at work. They block me, I email for it to be unblocked, coupla days later they unblock me. Coupla days after that they block me again, and so on. Shouldn't complain too much, it is a work PC after all. Wouldn't have had much time to post at the weekend. Busy busy busy. And oh so damn hot. I don't do hot. Got so hot on Suday I felt like I needed an Ambulance! So sweaty. You don't want to even imagine the state of my underpants.
We went to Chester Zoo yesterday! Piglet loved it! Today it's all Draff! Elphant! Tiger! (even though we actually didn't see a Tiger, it was a Lion). Lovely day, but too damn hot! Hot hot hot! Had to really be carefull little Piglet didn't over heat. My personal faves were the Draffs. The way they move seems so alien! Spindely 'n' all.
Animated Prowl and Classics Prowl have had their battle. Animated got the suprise factor, using his ninja skills to sneak up on Classics (disarming him in the process). But Classics managed to take a barrage of ninja strikes form Animated and found that if he got in close, and got holda Animated, thus reducing Animated's maneuverability, Classics could nullify alot of Animated's hand-to-hand superiority. Classics got down and dirty street style! Ended in a bit of a draw, with both fairly exhausted, but I'd have to say Classics got the upper hand slightly due to his superior firepower and ability to anticipate Animated's tactics. Grey Owl Prowl watched from on high. No doubt taking notes...
Question: Does Animated use his his police lights on his arms as laser blasters? (Not having seen the cartoon yet).
Have a great week guys!

Someone needs to make urine sample bottles easier to pee into without incident. Also, it's easier if a random old man isn't banging on the door because he wants to use the toilet.
In other news, I now have my Happy Pills to help me on the plane to/from AA. Fun for Nick and Andu!

Yay!
I'll bring along that "Rebirth of Thanos" trade as well. It's not very long but we'll only be up about 45 minutes so it should still be of use.

Well, that is another working week over and done with - and I for one am quite glad. It has been a bit of a crazy week workwise, with all sorts of odd and unexpected events. To top it all off the torrential rain this morning meant that the railway tunnel at Edinburgh was flooded - end result was that instead of taking an hour to get home it took me more like two.
Ah well, t'is done now, I have rounded out the week with a nice bottle of Koppaberg and a Hong Kong action movie and the weekend beckons. Now, if the weather would just hold off with the rain a little bit for a couple of days...

2 days down, 2 more to go. Tough day yesterday. Even though it's been raining, it's hot with it. Too hot for shockprowl. Don't do hot. Even when I'm on holiday.

We've got my sister in law staying with us. She's got big marriage problems at the moment and isn't at all happy so it's not a fun house here at the mo.
She's house sitting for a friend for the next 3 weeks. Mum's coming down for a bit which will be nice. But it's still more people in the house.

Just back from a week in the Lake District with my family. Walked around Grasmere a few times, read a lot and ate some great food. Also met sister's boyfriend. It's great that one of us is now in a serious relationship - takes guilt off me on the parents front!

Just back from a week in the Lake District with my family. Walked around Grasmere a few times, read a lot and ate some great food. Sounds like you had a great holiday there. I'm looking forward to mine in due course. I'm going to do a bit of revisiting my past I think. Booked my hotel down in Cardiff this afternoon, now all I need to do is sort out my transportation. Feeling a bit cabin-feverish today - the weather didn't really clear until later in the afternoon, so I didn't have a chance to get out and about. Consoled myself with watching some episodes of "The Shield", did a bit of reading and then stuck "The Bourne Ultimatum" on and did myself a chicken and vegetable stir-fry. I'm fortunate in that my immediate family don't really make an issue of that. I think that perhaps past history has given me a bit of a "bye" on being harassed about future relationships. Karl

They don't harrass me, but I still know they'd like at least one of us to have a family. Fingers crossed!
Will you have time for a pint when you visit Cardiff?
