The abbot keeps flashing ads for bad breath/odour/vaginal smells. I think it's trying to tell us something.

Kicking off this week still under the thumb of the space-lurgy. Feel awful, and can't stop coughing. My throat is raw, and i have to cancel band practice tonight which is rotten.
Rotten, i tells ya.

Interesting start to the week. Somethings going well, somethings not going so well.
Unfortunately the snow here has decided to stop at the various hills, and not actually get down down to the Forth Valley floor. So there is a thick coat of snow on the hills on either side of Falkirk, and a little bit lying in the hollows up at Polmont as you climb up out of town towards Edinburgh. So I can see plenty of snow, but I can't quite get at it easily. So close, yet so far. Frustrating, because I do like my snow. A good crisp winter is easily my favourite time of year.

The flu. Bah, 'tis a balls.
I spent a good ten minutes blowing my nose and coughing up solid lumps of phlegm, and I'm pretty sure my entire brain has turned to mucus.
Let alone the 15 minutes of agony on the bog when I got into work.

Spent most of the night having really horrendous and disturbing dreams relating to past events/people throughout the night, which were intense enough to frequently wake me. They're still with me and I've been up for a couple of hours.

I can see it also but I don't think that a piano-playing dog from the Muppets is going to cure Ralph's disturbing dreams.

Ah, Rowlf, Jim Henson's original and most likeable Muppet. I have that clip on DVD. I fear The Very Best of the Muppet Show may have to make a forced appearance on Easter Saturday night.
___
Statler: So, this is one of Ralph's dreams, eh?
Waldorf: Yup. Why do you suppose we're in it?
Statler: Oh, some fool posted a YouTube clip featuring Muppets, which turned his thoughts to us.
Waldorf: Do you suppose this dream will be any good?
Statler: Can't be any worse than the Muppet Show clip!
Waldorf: Still, do you think he'll mind if we sleep through it?
Statler: I don't see why, that's what he's planning to do!
Both: Ah-hahahahaha-zzzzzz....

Hi Sportsfans! In for a run of 5, yes 5 shifts! Some of them 12 hourers! The Monday shift though is to do my solo-responder car training! Which is ace! Had a lovely coupla days looking after Piglet. She's singing more and more. Got her doing Old MacDonald. I'd pause at the animal naming point, and Piglet'd say "Cowwww" every time! Bless. On a Transformers note, my labels arrived from Reprolables for Alts Jazz and Wheeljack and BT Alert. Sucessfull convert Alert into Prowl, may start a thread on that, he looks totally freakin' awesome! And what a difference labels make! Jazz looks great with his 4 on his chest! So G1 my little G1-bean was tickled silly. Not got onto 'Jack yet, had to print off a label map today for him, didn't wana put 'em on wrong! But I hartily recommend the labels for partic Jazz. He just looks fantastic!
Hope everyone having/has a good week.

Week has got off to another bad start and my shoulders have seized up already. -Ralph Is there a Karate club near you? Or any martial arts for that matter. No better way to get rid of stress and aches (and acquire all new aches! Ha Ha Ha, oh my hamstring...). Seriously though, highly recommend it. Ian

Did Tae Kwon Do in my teens, knackered my knees up something awful.
Near the end of my first week at Sky, a relatively well paid but tedious gig as a keyboard monkey for the Sky.com portal. Feeling weary and braindead, with unfocused resentment boiling away in there too. Grump.

My dad will sponsor me £25 IF I complete the 5km in under half an hour. Depending on wind and terrain that could be a tall order.

Several days of disturbed sleep is taking its toll. Gods, I'm tired. Not looking forward to sleep though with the dreams I'm having lately. In other news, spent better part of 6 hours this evening working up a group presentation for Uni tomorrow. In a noble gesture of 'fuck it', Team Alpha (one day that group will relaise that is their true name if I have to bloody make up t-shirts), decided to compile a piss-take video of some counselling techniques complete with cheesy music, dodgy camerawork, etc and all on low-resolution VHS for maximum effect. I pressed some buttons on the keyboard, did the dodgy lighting and spent some time with a comedy beard, glasses etc as this guy: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritz_PerlsI was also in a gorilla costume for some sequences. I did enjoy rampaging through a door at one point. -Ralph

A Gorilla costume? That's certainly different. Did you get to throw any boulders at anything?
Today was the most bonkers day so far of a week that is becoming more and more hectic with every passing day. On the bright side though, when I get the chance to get on with things at work I am doing extremely well at getting through things. The challenge is actually getting the time to sit down and get things done, around all the other crises that keep cropping up. This afternoon was especially exhausting between one thing and another. Ah well, tomorrow is Friday, and I have banked enough flexi-time that I shall be able to leave the office at 3.30 when we close to the public. I think I may have earned myself a pint in the evening at some point.

I did not throw boulders but did attack the cameraman at one point. I also threw the water at the counsellor and ripped up the box of tissues in gorilla-rage. I also made some rude gestures.

That sounds well fun Doc'.
Did not want to get up this am (5:15), but I'm here and ready for action! Er, well ready for a cup of tea and a Hub. When I came through the door last night I was greeted by Piglet, who ran up to me with a big grin and said "Paaaat-aaa-caaake!". Crazy little short fat thing! Put Alt Wheeljack's green and red stickers on last night, whilst Mrs Shockprowl watched some gardening programe or other. Very tricky to apply, but holy Christmas do they look good! Not as G1ick as Prowl and Jazz, 'cos the mold aint right, but near as damn it. Incredible how just some stickers can change a fig completely. Need to sort out his pelvic area thought now. The blue doesn't look right anymore. He he, Wheeljack's pelvis area is blue- I think he needs a fembot!

This week it occurred to me that in most jobs you do not regularly hear phrases such as "I found another dead body", at least not in a happy tone and "I'm doing the dead guy" in a really non creepy context.

My run is tomorrow. The weather is is hovering between 'miserable' and 'Time Wars' and my nose has been running all morning. If I have to run in the pissing rain with a cold I will be most put out.
