Okay. So we've had plenty of 1984-1986 toys reissued, a handful of 1987 toys, a couple of 1988, some 1992 toys and a 1995er as well. And, some Beast Wars as well, I guess.
But what of the "forgotten years"? Which Transformers from the latter half of the pre-G2 ranges would you like to see reissued?

I would like to see some of the Action Masters get some love. As well as Pretenders, powermasters, headmasters and target masters. Sure, not all of them appeal to me but some more variety of eras available in the re-issues increases choice for everybody. It was great to see the gestalt micromaster dudes get a few airings, it would nice to see some other micromasters come out: the patrols, combiners, bases.
Characters/toys I'd like to see: Skorponok, Hardhead, Chromdome, Sureshot, Countdown, every AM! Oh, and the double targetmasters.
And the moon on a stick.

But we've already had three targetmasters, one powermaster, and four gestalt Micromaster reissues Beyond that - I agree with your list...but have certain reservations...namely - the Headmasters are generally a tad too bulky and somewhat fugly... they would need to be jazzed up and die-cast metalized. I think their appeal would be limited...actually... Skorponok on the other hand would be a great reissue - but for now, I'll be happy to get Trypticon. In general, I would prefer to see more season 1 and 2 reissues. A reissue Reflector, for instance, reissue Shockwave... Heck - even reissue Springer would be nice. Also - special teams - Stunticon and Constructicon sets. But eventually - everything - or almost everything - will be reissued Pete

Don't forget there has been an Action Master reissue ! It's left as an excercise to the reader to work out which one. And an AM vehicle has *definitely* come out in another toyline.

A slightly recoloured AM Prime robot was a pack in with 2002 New Year Convoy. AM Prime's trailer turned up green in another toyline though I'm buggered if I can recall the name. -Ralph

Countdowns base also got a nice recolour in that line I believe.
A bit ouside your range, but I'd like to see the original Laser Rods brought back. As four of the first modern Transformers the 25th anni would be a great time to see them especially if they were done with a standard ball and socket hip joint.
I cant say theres much that I really want from G1. Not because I already have it but because I seem to have lost interest in it. I love the characterisation in the comics for most of them, but when I have picked up the toy for the first time I'm almost always disappointed.
Actionamsters still appeal to me but there main selling point of articulation has been eclipsed by almost very toy of the last 13 or 14 years. It would be nice to see them packed in as with New Year Prime.
New Pretenders would be my other choice. For there size the inner robots had reasonable range of movement (comparable with legends and spychangers at least) and unlike other Pretenders their alt forms generally looked like something. The shells all looked good to.

Ooh, never seen any decent pictures of that "Armoured Convoy" trailer before. Only ever seen the small picture on the Car Robots catalogue.
The colour scheme is eerily similar to that of BW2 God Neptune, and it's a lot nicer than the Action Master version.
My next question; is this piece hard/expensive to track down?

I think they were the very first fully poseable robot/realistic vehicle Transformers ever produced, weren't they? If they do reissue them, I'd hope for better quality plastic. I used to have all four when they came out, but the plastic was really brittle and chipped/stressed easily.

I nearly bought one during my mad splurge on Yahoo Japan. It was loose and only going for about £10-15, but for once I resisted and saved myself the extra £15-30 it would have cost to get it here.

Darkwing & Dreadwind deserve to be re-released. Both in their US colours and Masterforce colours as an exclusive.
Thunderwing, Bludgeon and Nightbeat too (and Minelba as an exclusive!)

Liokaiser and Road Caesar giftsets! I like the combiners, and don't have those ones yet and would like brand new ones at a decent price.

Generally speaking, rather than reissues I'd prefer to see new versions in Classics or Robot Heroes.

I tell you what might be an interesting "Classics" type toy range: all the Action Master characters as transforming versions of what their robots modes look to be.
For example, Treadshot as a six-shooter pistol, Jackpot as a sports car and so on.
