I dunno. I remember how excitedly you talked about your course- the people you met and the trials and tribulations you all went through. You might feel differently down the line.

Various things I'm not going into on a public forum happened near the end and afterwards that have dramatically coloured my opinion of my decision to do it. I just want to put the whole thing behind me as rapidly as possible and move on.

Ralph - look at your local university's job site. Pay is relatively good, just take any job you think you can do as once you're in you get access to the internal only jobs (aka the decent jobs) and the staff dev. Pensions are also final salary schemes and the leave entitlement is generous. They also have counselling jobs there but more often then not they're internal only.
