The parentals have now seen all 6 seasons. Unprompted, the Mother Unit has declared the "scene with the spoon to be the most terrible thing ever" which will "live in the memory for a long time."

Used to see the odd episode really late on C4 as well. Did the entire series have the dreadlocked guy give those (opening?, closing?) monologues - can't recall...
I used to think it was a real shame C4 showed it so late at night/early mornings - but the content of the show was very tough....I don't think anyone can say Americans don't know how to make great drama/t.v. as Oz proved things 100% to the contrary.
Brilliant stuff. I think I remember the 'spoon' episode...very gruesome if its the thing I'm thinking of...

It's fantastic, as both Ralph and I have said, the fact that background players become foreground players for a bit and nobody and I mean nobody is safe means you are guaranteed to be on edge.
I'm genuinely struggling to think of a bad character/performance in it.
