well done shockprowl! I didn't! Was polite and respectful and referred to them as menstrual cycles! (I could have been a lot more vulgar, but since you are a proper lady I thought better of it.) oh alright then! I was thinking of it in the worst way when you probably just meant the stomach cramps, sorry graham

Another job knockback. I'm not even going to get any pennies in benefits for at least another fortnight (not that I ever wanted to sign on in the first place). When am I going to get a ******* break in life?

Faith of the hea*is rugby tackled*
Seriously though- it'll happen.
By tomorrow evening I will have worked ten 9-hour shifts in the last eleven days. In literally the busiest Toys'r'us toy department in Britain. Three weeks from Christmas. Blarg.
Need to make sure I get a good night's sleep tonight. This morning I woke up quite fresh, looked at the clock, threw off the covers and headed off to have a shower before catching a pre-rush hour bus in because of the anticipated snow. I was just about to step into the shower when I noticed that my alarm clock was still at the 'ALARM SET' setting and was simply displaying the time I had set my alarm to go off at (6.45). I switched it to normal. It was only 5.15. I had no choice but to head back to bed, pull the now-freezing covers back over myself and stare at the ceiling until the alarm actually went off, by which point I was completely vegged.

MY week started out great. Finished week three of my course, reaching hte half way point with a day of life drawing which I haven't done for about 5 years. Then went in to central london looking for a Firefly comic no luck with that and I realised that I had hours before my family arrived at Kings Cross. Mum and Dad where flying out to Orlando on Monday (yay transformers gifts for me) and so decided to start the holiday early and Mat came down to see a show. We got tickets for Bill Bailey on the Saturday.
Anyway with a few hours to spare I decided to line up for returns to Eddie Izzards Stripped which is running just next door to Baileys show. I was lucky enough to get a ticket at the front row centre of the top balcony so had a great view for just £25. Show was great then in the second half someone in the audience took some offense to the anti god direction of the show and Izzard kinda lost it. I imagine most of what he said was usually part of the show but probably not the level of anger that went with it. Very shortly after the show ended a good 15 minutes earlier than usual. (though its possible the usher I asked was wrong) Still a great show but an od experience.
Saturday was spent doing the London sights. London eye is always good. Unfortunately I was coming dow with a cold and while it wasnt bothering me much besides a sore throat I completely lost my voice by the time we went to see Bill Bailey. That show was great though not sure if it was quite as funny as Stripped and almost certain it wasn't quite as good as Part Troll.
Sunday we saw Madagascar 2 at Imax. Wish we could have seen Dark Knight instead but that wasnt to be. A meal while watching the live football largely ended the weekend. Besides the loss of my voice a fine time was had. Mat went home and the parents got the bus to Heathrow at 4am.
Since then I've gotten worse and my voice still hasnt fully come back. Coughing through the night feeling sick, no fun. I gave up on the course today, I wasn't working and hostels are not hte best places to be ill. So came home for a long weekend. Still gonna have to have a lot of work but it will be very much more relaxing. And I'll be able to work on 6.

Things will start to break your way in due course Ralph.
I've had an interesting week, what with various things occuring at work my times have been "interesting" - in the sense of the old curse. I'm rather glad that the working week is done and that I have Scotcon to look forward to - the company of good friends, a bit of banter and the mind-wrenching agony of the Quiz of doom are exactly what I could be doing with.

lol hero, a star wars advent calender little chocolate yodas! The chocolates are the usual shapes of houses, squirrels, snowmen and present boxes but the best part about it is the cut-out Yoda mask on the back. And Ralph, I hope the job front RULES for you buddy. ===KEN

Nothing new to report at my end. I've spent the past week away from the Hub just so that I could arse around on Facebook (see, no Hub addiction here) and find that half of my fellow Hubbers have been struck down with illness to which I hope that everybody has now recovered from.

Howdy, Sports Fans! Piglet had her toddler group christmas party today! I got the day off spesh. She had her lovely pink sparkly party dress on! She danced loads and got a prezzie off Santa! AND towards the end a little boy 'asked' her to dance with her! They went round and round in a circle holding hands for a bit! So Cute! -ah, time to get the shotgun out...
Face-off Hulk (an excellant version of Hulk, new to my collection) had a kick-ass fight with Beast Wars Optimus Primal. I cannot recommend this fight enough! You gotta try it! Seriously guys, TRY IT!!!

The last party Jonathan went to he had to be Naughty Stepped in the middle of the singing of Happy Birthday for biting someone. Unfortunately A) It was me he bit and B) It was his birthday party.

I have to buy new clothes sometime soon. I've been putting it off for too long since I dropped 3 jeans sizes this year. My current jeans/trousers all fit me like skater/clown pants so I now need something more form fitting.
Who would have thought weightloss would have other expenses after cutting down the food bill.
Still, a good thing though.

Well, I'm off to work in a bit for a night shift. I'm out in the sticks tonight at a satelite station. Hate being in the sticks. Too many toothless grins.
