Must watch it again myself. Apparently there were problems with the director...... and 1stAD Graeme Harper did lots of it.

It's screamingly obvious to my eye that Harper did big chunks of it, especially the 'inspired by Alien' opening shot of the ship interior.

TRIAL OF A TIMELORD DVD set has slipped another month to late September. This has filled me with indescribable rage. I could have a full-blown fan hissy fit any minute now. Be warned.

Think it was last week the sun did big reveal for the christmas show. The Cybermen are in it - So everyone must of not seen the last part of series 4.13 - where it stated on BBC 1 that the Cybermen are in it. Wonder if they are going to say that the Master is back in series 3 next week - seeing they like to report stuff we have known about.

The War Machines DVD is en route to Phil's Death Fortress in Swindon. One of Billy's best....

I do like Tenth Planet though .... But it is Billy doing a Troughton story. Whereas this is Billy doing a Pertwee. Neither's representative of the Hartnell era and yet they are probably my 2 favorite Hartnell stories.

I've got a huge soft spot for "The war Machines" as well. I haven't stumped up for the DVD yet, but have marked it down as something to be acquired in due course - there is just something about it that I rather enjoy. Probably helped by the fact that it is the debut of Ben and Polly, who would go on to work so well as characters alongside the New Doctor Who in a couple of stories time.

It is, but I'll never be able to watch it again as last time I saw it I was in a drunken haze after being dumped so unfortunately the two memories are strangely interwined.

Its great news that a certain police officer is back in the show next year after being around in the show this year. The policeman from the second movie - Bernard.
Also nice to see we are getting the 8th doctor in the Timewars flashbacks. Master returns [could be events that took place when he was setting himself up as Saxon]

THE TRIAL OF A TIMELORD box set set has arrived at Burns Towers. At last my favourite story is on DVD! What a mighty package it is too.
And it has the most mind-churning extra feature ever. This is real. This is not a spoof:
