Earl Cameron has left us, aged 102
He played astronaut Glynn Williams in The Tenth Planet, which I *THINK* is the first major speaking role for a black actor in Doctor Who. In his late 90s he gave a top turn on the DVD commentary.
And that's before we get on to any of the other stuff he did!

Just been in Smiths for the first time since March. The Sci Fi & Comic shelves are seriously depleted from their usual overloaded state! Picked up the new DWM special - 12th Doc vol 3, but was surprised to find at the checkout that the price has gone from £8 to £10.

New version of POTD in the post! As with similar releases, the new recon is the main draw for me.
And a few seconda of new found footage!!!

As this is now out, I wonder if we're due news of a new blu-ray set. Then we can all spend months worrying about whether pre-orders will actually be fulfilled. Yay.

I would presume the article next month implies a release date in the near future.
DOWN THERE.

WAITING.

Oh phew. I was going to ask that, so we still have the proper sleeves going. Good. I will probably have to get this then.

It may upset some that the reversed sleeve still says Special Edition below the title on the spine.

I was thinking about this release. They've just done Fury, so they have facial assets now for Victoria, so if the next release is Evil they may have gone back to the Dalek assets, decided to improve them and then thought, okay, now we've done that we might as well stick out a Power SE to get some cash in to help fund future releases. So maybe Evil next. Feels like a bit of a trump card to play, but it looks like the pieces are being put in place to do it.

Evil remains the solid gold one to do, and Faceless Ones shows they are willing to animate existing episodes too.
I would really like a Hartnell done for a change though.

I would too. The fact there hasn't been one seems to indicate a financial plan based on asset reuse, but I'd love to see Marco Polo done so they can do a season one Blu-ray set. Then it isn't a huge jump to do the two Crusade episodes to get season two out as well.

And the surviving Crusades episodes would also really benefit from improvements in restoration techniques. The Lost In Time dvd set was a long time ago now!
