It's not 'Conspiracy'! It's 'Home Soil'! The Radio Times lied! It's a... conspiracy! Very strange. It listed the 'Enterprise' episode correctly. Martin UGLY BAGS OF MOSTLY WATER. -Ralph

Now the Radio Times is claiming that 'Conspiracy' is on tonight! www.radiotimes.com/tv-programme/e/h8xfn/star-trek-the-next-generation--s1-e25-conspiracy/But looking back, it appears to have claimed that every night this week. The 'Enterprise' episodes listed in the 7pm slot are all different (and yesterday's was correct, I watched it). But it lists 'Conspiracy' every night in the 8pm slot! The Sky website contains the truth... It's actually showing 'When the Bough Breaks' tonight. I will not be tricked by false schedules into inadvertently watching... A WESLEY EPISODE. Martin

Michael Chabon (the writer for Picard) has a comprehensive background written for Romulan culture, most of which hasn't been used (yet). michaelchabon.medium.com/some-notes-on-romulans-b1c7f30a383fVery interesting read, but I can't say I'm sorry it isn't canon. Not terribly fond of it. I've always viewed their complete distrust in everything as a survival skill cultivated through centuries of a malicious government that will prey on them as quickly as it would foreign agents.

Just been restruck by the thought (for the nth time) How will they get Riker into Strange New Worlds? (and Section 31 if that ever happens).
I feel like the baller move would to go the Enterprise simulation route for both shows. But at the same time an original method would be appriciated. Maybe send Tom Riker back in time.
And how long before he appears in Disco and the nick show?

If my minor spoilered knowledge of Disco season 3 is correct, then getting Riker in it is easy. Can be a clone, can be an EHR (Emergency Holographic Riker). Can even be a training video of how to use a space plunger, ala Frake's appearance in Nickelodeon's The Astronauts! (I vote for the latter)
Depending on when Prodigy is set and it's actual story, the possibility is endless.
But... Perhaps there is a bigger picture here, we're not seeing. There's something more to the Rikerverse. The destruction or Romulus and the creation of the Kelvin timeline is causing a fracturing of the timestream. The last remaining timeship from the future pulls Riker out of time and sends him to various points to repair the fractures.
This way we can Forrest Gump Jonathan Frakes into TOS and the movie era.
The Rikerverse.

So I'm watching the episode where Sisko, Bashir, and Dax time travel to the 21st Century, and it made me think. (Goofy stuff. If I think too much about how horrifically close they got to what's actually happening here, I'd cry)
But Starfleet Academy really needs to have a full mandatory course on "What to do if you find yourself in 20th/21st Century San Francisco."
So many troubles would ease up if they were conditioned to use "Our parents were hippies" as an excuse. Caught with weird uniforms or alien growths? "We're going to Comicon."

My fiancee and I are about to start rewatching the entirety of Star Trek. An episode a week - it's going to take a while!
The discs are in original broadcast order, which means that Where No Man Has Gone Before is third. Hmm...
