Give it a few weeks and Horror channel will be back to the start again for a daily dose at 6pm, which is how Liz watches it.
We've also been catching the TNG repeats at 5 on Pick. S3 the last few weeks, superb stuff. Sarek today. Borg on Monday and Tuesday coming

My fiancee and I are about to start rewatching the entirety of Star Trek. An episode a week - it's going to take a while! The discs are in original broadcast order, which means that Where No Man Has Gone Before is third. Hmm... Jeeze, that'll take what...700 weeks?

More - because additional episodes will be made during the course of the re-watch which need to be tacked on the end. If they release more than one episode per week, the end of the re-watch will recede ever further into the future. And this is why we invented binge-watching. Martin

If it were one a day, it would still take more than two years.
Do Short Treks count in the one a week system, or are they like a topping?

Including all 13 movies, Short Treks, and greenlit but unreleased seasons of Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, and Strange, New Worlds
That's 840 episodes. 840 weeks. Not including episodes and series that haven't even been announced or written. Short Treks are ten episodes that are like, 5-10 minutes each. Watch all those in one setting like a movie, that will shave off nine weeks.
That will take 16 years.
At a pace of one a day, it would still take three years to get through them all.

Rewatching old series an episode a week is something I've been doing for about ten years now. I've watched Babylon 5, Crusade, Alien Nation, Firefly, Charmed, Xena, Buffy and Angel, with two or three series on the go at once.
I started doing it for several reasons. I never seemed to find the time to watch programmes that I'd enjoyed in the past. (Even more so now, with so much new genre television.) I enjoy watching programmes the old fashioned way: weekly, with that time and anticipation in-between. I don't like binge-watching, nor do I like watching series erratically. It was something to do on a Sunday night.
Since moving in with Kiera at the start of the first lockdown, I've had to make some compromises because she was losing me to my Sunday Night Programmes. Whereas I had planned to watch Star Trek after finishing Xena, we've been watching Ghost Whisperer. It's not something I'd have chosen, as I've always rewatched old favourites, and neither of us have seen it before, but it is at least a 90s/early 00s series, which is what I normally watch. (Yes, I know Star Trek isn't 90s, but that's when I previously watched it all.) After Buffy, I was going to watch X Files, but Kiera's watched it fairly recently, so we've been watching modern Dr Who and will slot in Torchwood and Sarah Jane. I finished Angel last week and fortunately Kiera's changed her mind about wanting to watch Star Trek, which she'd also seen fairly recently but now is ready to see again.
One episode a week for Star Trek isn't strictly accurate, by the way. When we get to the 90s series, which overlapped and crossed over, we'll be watching two episodes (one from each simultaneous series) each Sunday from the appropriate point.

I am not a fan of binge-watching either. I prefer watching only 1 or 2 episodes of something at a time.

Watching six seasons of DS9 and four movies on top of tng/voyager will shave a few years off, but that's still well over a decade.
Even if I didn't like binge watching, I just wouldn't have that kind of patience. At a pace of one a day, I still wouldn't have the patience.
I salute your commitment.

I just realized I forgot Prodigy, so add ten more episodes to 850.

That has a two season initial order so make that twenty.

During lockdown, I tried to watch one episode of TNG a day. I got about midway because TNG... early TNG is rough. I’m making more progress with DS9. I can’t binge, but I also suck at time management.

It would be early DS9 that I'd struggle with rather than TNG. It was on-par with soap opera until Babylon 5 showed them how a space station series should be done.

I salute your commitment. Thank you, but I don't really see it as a commitment. It's no different to people watching soap operas, or Match of the Day, or something for years.

Watching DS9 The Collaborator now. Almost onto season three, I'm happy going an episode every Friday. Love this series.

I started rewatching Enterprise, and once again being irritated by Bakula's bizarre decision to read every line as though Archer's giving a speech.

Missed opportunity for Enterprise: A Matter of Time prequel, that takes place before Matt Frewer gets ahold of a time machine and goes to TNG.

The most unbelievable thing about Enterprise is Trip Tucker got knocked up, and no one ever used that against him.

Watching Remember Me on Pick. Soundlevels are all over the shop, with the dialogue way quieter than it ought to be.

I loved it BITD. I was even buying the CIC VHS tapes, two episodes a pop. But circumstance changed and I lost touch with it. I am having trouble remembering exactly where I stopped though. I know it was an end of season cliffhanger where I think the Jem Hadar attacked DS9 and an important? ship was destroyed, I remember it blowing up with a to be continued bit. I can't place where that was though, was it end of Season 3? I think I've got there - last episode of season two when the Odyssey is destroyed and the Jem'Hadar are introduced. I'm sure it was the end of season three though that I got to. Might get some idea next week when I start it...

Naw, no one saw the end of Season 3 coming. Who'd predict Gul Dukat proposing to Sisko?
