So we know how awesome the Universe Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mould it because it can get two different robots out of the same vehicle.
But what was the first Transformers toy to be able to do this?
And for extra funness, put your answer inside Spoiler Tags.

Mr Shift, sir, you are indeed correct! Email me your postal address and I'll send you a prize. Probably a knackered Throttlebot I couldn't shift on eBay.

If you had said 'disguise mode' rather than 'vehicle', would the 1984 Decepticon Cassettes have qualified?

Following Goldbug's instructions to the letter will break the toy. I know this because I broke mine as soon as I got it when I was a little boy.
